Plan, configure, and implement ADABAS support for structured/unstructured data, SQL, Natural, and security features. Plan and execute disaster recovery strategies for ADABAS and related products, including offsite restoration. Manage and create tablespaces, assist DBAs with parameter settings, and optimize database structures for efficiency. Configure and optimize ADABAS Cluster Services, add-on tools, and Nucleus 64-bit processing support. Implement buffering strategies for data and indexes in main memory to reduce CPU consumption and improve performance. Monitor, analyze, and tune ADABAS database performance, including reporting resource consumption through SMF. Support compliance with audits, regulatory requirements, and OPM change control processes. Provide technical assistance to PMO, DBMS programming, and systems design staff.
