Characteristics, Duties, and Responsibilities
* Serves as primary on-site administrator prior to, during and after intercollegiate athletic events and has overall responsibility for the events taking place. Includes monitoring/assisting with venue setup and take down.
* Manages all communication on game days with facility staff, coaching staff, visiting teams, officials, and security as needed
* Works with public safety, emergency responders, facility staff, event organizers, and custodial staff to ensure effective and professional event management.
* Compliance with all NJCAA, Region XIX, and UCNJ Union College of Union County, NJ rules and regulations
* Responsible for hospitality management for visiting teams which includes greeting visiting team, locker room/restroom set up, video hookup, fan seating areas etc.
* Remains visible during all events.
* Works with public safety and reports any hostile/out of control fans.
* Answers questions/request of custodian when necessary.
* Works with athletic trainer and know how to get help if needed.
* Communicate any game disqualifications/ejections with the Athletic Director at the close of the venue via phone/email/written report.
* Other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
Associate Degree required
Experience
* Experience with an athletic program either as a player or coach required.
* First Aid and CPR certification will be required, training available
* Previous event management experience preferred

Survivors Empowerment and Education Network (SEEN) for the Prevention of Domestic and Dating Violence, Sexual Assault and Stalking Program
Project Grant program at Kean University.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the completion of the project's stated goals, leading the Coordinated Community Response Team and overseeing the project. The Coordinator participates in the Department of Justice (DOJ) Office on Violence Against Women (OVW)-sponsored training and technical assistance (TA); collects and reports performance indicators; participates in assessment and/or evaluation; and works with TA providers to establish the infrastructure to create a comprehensive program to address domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking on campus that is grounded in culturally specific strategies.
The Project Coordinator organizes training events for members of the campus community (e.g. students, staff), collects data associated with program activities, and organizes policy-making efforts regarding domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking on campus.
This is not a remote position. This position requires travel and a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours. This position is a part-time (three quarter-time, 26.25 hours weekly) grant funded position. Future employment is contingent upon continued grant funding.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Psychology, Counseling or a related field; license or eligibility for licensure in the State of New Jersey in a mental health or related field (for example, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Associate Counselor, Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker); and three years of professional experience in a related field is required. A Master's degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience. Experience working with university students and interest in providing education and training to clinical staff, the campus community and external entities/organizations is preferred.

Essential Duties:
The Teaching Artist will provide private applied flute instruction to approximately 1-3 students enrolled in the Applied Music program. Students registered for Applied Music receive twelve lessons per semester.

The EMR Instructor teaches foundational emergency care knowledge and hands-on skills to a diverse student population, including adult learners, career-changers, and dual-enrolled high school students. Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) has an anticipated opening for a Building & Grounds Manager. With minimal supervisor, the Building & Grounds Manager will supervise and participate in the repair and maintenance of the buildings and grounds of the College, including all buildings, roadways, vehicles, athletic fields and power plant facilities. The Manager will maintain all machinery necessary for building grounds operations. Job Description:
Raritan Valley Community College's Testing Center is currently seeking a part-time, Testing Center Assistant. The Testing Center Assistant provides services to students and faculty in the RVCC Testing Center and may administer approved testing at designated off site locations. Assistants are responsible for administering and proctoring written and computer-based tests following established procedures.
Essential Duties:
Administer paper and computer-based tests to students and community members according to established policies and instructors' directions. Check student identification to assure that the correct test is given only to the designated student. Accurately explain instructions to students and observe that all procedures are followed.
Respond to telephone, email and in-person requests as needed.
Conduct or assist in off-site testing according to established procedures.
Recommend to students which placement tests should be retaken based upon an analysis of preliminary scores and knowledge of the registration and placement process.
Refer students to appropriate advisors/counselors or other department units.
Maintain accurate records of students needing testing and those tested and verify appropriate placement of students.
Maintain the security and confidentiality of records.
Prepare, order, package, organize and distribute tests.
Become certified as a NJ high school equivalency proctor or administrator as determined by the Director. Support high school equivalency testing and record-keeping as assigned.
Input student data into Excel and Banner as assigned.
Maintain cleanliness of testing surfaces.
Ensure accurate filing and cleanliness of testing materials and test booklets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Prior experience working in a Testing Center, or closely related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Test Center Assistants work from 10 to 20 hours a week, depending on testing volume. During high demand periods, such as final exam week and the weeks immediately prior to a semester, Assistants are expected to be available 15 to 24 hours per week.
This position requires availability morning, afternoon, evening and/or occasional Saturdays.
Students are ineligible to apply.

The Generalist will be responsible but not limited to facilitate applications, recruiting, assessment, advising, registration, and placement through personal contact and follow through with the prospective student as she/he proceeds through the intake process.
Characteristics, Duties, and Responsibilities
* Assist with grant recruitment by providing information to prospective students by telephone, email, and in person (walk-ins). Assist prospective students in completing the participant profile and enter information obtained in the Assessment Log to update the waiting list.
* Guide and advise prospective students on the Grant programs and intake process.
* Support prospective students referred by grant partner agencies, including the American Job Center and Youth Programs, into the grant program.
* Schedule and confirm pre-test dates through direct outreach via calls and emails. Update the Assessment Log with test results and placement level.
* Set up registration appointments for enrollment.
* Assist in the interview processes for specific classes, Integrated Education and Training (IET) and Civics classes. And identifies client supportive service needs.
* Develops individual educational and career plans for students based on student interest, academic levels and career assessment. Develops a student IEEP (Individual Education and Employment Plan) with student.
* Prepare and oversee the computer lab for pre-tests, creating testing tickets and proctoring sessions, including CLAS-E and CASAS assessments.
* Manages pre-intake and post-intake processes. Manage the intake process, creating and maintaining student folders and ensuring all required documentation is submitted to MIS.
* Prepares and maintains necessary records and files on recruitment, assessment, enrollment, advising, and job placement.
* Conduct follow up exit interviews with students who have completed courses, reviewing their Individual Education & Employment Plans (IEEP) and offering guidance on next steps and additional resources.
* Initiates and conducts post-surveying for student outcomes.
* Performs liaison duties with cooperative agencies and programs.
* Responds to all program related requests.
* Initiates and supports CEWD recruitment efforts for all programs.
* Reads, interprets, and communicates College and CEWD policies and procedures.
* Recommends improvements in department procedures. Collaborates with other staff/administrators/instructors to identify needed improvements in procedures and communication.
* Other duties as assigned which help CEWD realize contractual goals.

Raritan Valley Community College's Athletics department is hiring Lifeguards for the upcoming semester and beyond. Under direct supervision by the Director of Athletics, the Lifeguards ensure the safety of patrons of RVCC's aquatics facility by preventing and responding to emergencies, while providing consistent quality customer service to all patrons.
