Essential Functions:

Civil Construction Hands work on civil construction and infrastructure projects performing a variety of physical tasks. They clear and prepare sites to be worked on, direct traffic through worksites, move materials around the site and operate the machinery used in road working.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Civil Construction of sites
Equipment operation
Tying steel for foundations
Forming a pouring concrete
Use transit and leveling equipment
Electric service installations (singe and multi gang meters)
Pulling wire
Pulling fiber innerduct
AC and DC electric work
Generator Installations
Ability to read construction drawings
Create material list
Set up concrete and rock deliveries
Operate bucket trucks (125') inside substations
Stack towers with bucket truck (monopoles)
Install microwave equipment and path alignment on tower using bucket truck
Terminate and test Cat 5
Help with assembly of towers (working with tower crew on self-support towers)
Rigging equipment
Fence installation
Unload and inventory Tower pieces
Other duties as assigned. Job duties are subject to change as directed by management

Experience and Education:

Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Class A CDL License is required.
Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Must complete OSHA 10hr Safety Training Program within 60 days, other combinations of education / experience may be considered.
Must have ability for frequent travel on needed training requirements and potential for overtime including storm work.
Physical capabilities required to safely operate a motor vehicle and equipment, in all driving conditions.
Possesses sight, strength and coordination necessary to safely and effectively operate heavy and light equipment and tools.

Looking for a experienced candidate with a strong work ethic to join our marine team. Candidate will have to pass drug testing and back ground checks. Candidate must be able to take a 3-4 24 hr day trip on our line boat every other week or as needed. Candidate must have at least 5 years of deckhand experience on a line boat and have held a engineer/mechanic position for 2 years. Candidate must have heavy diesel experience, air controls, electrical, hydraulic and knowledgeable of all line boat operations. Candidate will need good communication and written documentation skills. When the boat is not out on tow the candidate will work at the harbor service working on other equipment as needed. Pay will determine on experience.
