Position Purpose: To provide medical records and administrative support services for Rosecrance Jackson Centers Sioux City Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder outpatient treatment services.
Job Requirements:

Keyboarding ability of 50 WPM

Essential Responsibilities:
Work prescribed hours five days a week and be available to work additional hours when necessary. Overtime may be required.
Create matrixes for appropriate clients and file in the client record.
Input admissions and discharges into the software system as needed.
Monitor error/rejection/ineligible reports and provide prescribed follow up with clinical and supervisory staff.
Perform weekly health record reviews and record in client record as required.
Track that all documentation is in the electronic health record software and mark complete, incomplete or missing documentation.
Maintain/update all program documents as requested.
Provide administrative support to team members and clients of the program.
Provide support for program and client chart audit and compliance reviews as requested.
Responsible for monitoring stock of office supplies and reordering as necessary.
May be responsible for management of petty cash and collection of client co-payments.
Perform secure handling of cardholder data, including encryption, data storage limitations, and adherence to security protocols.
Serve as a member of the Administrative Support and Outpatient teams and participate in all team meetings and activities as required.
Coordinate and maintain organization of the assigned outpatient teams.
Maintain client charts as assigned.
Input data and prepare reports as assigned.
Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.
