Wendy Kibby joined United Community Health Center as Quality Manager in July 2013, from St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tucson, AZ. Working on the center’s quality improvement and patient advocacy initiatives led to a progression of increased oversight over the organization’s operational development. Wendy began working in this dual role in January 2015 with a passion for process improvement and program development to include strong focus on information technology advancement throughout the organization.Prior to joining UCHC, Wendy spent 10 years in management in various hospitality environments and non-profit settings before accomplishing a lifelong dream of becoming a nurse and working in the couplet care unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tucson. The mission and vision of UCHC was a perfect match for Wendy’s dedication to patient care and superior customer service.Wendy is a member of Sigma Theta Tau-Honor Society of Nursing, American Nurses Association, and the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Grand Canyon University (GCU) and Master’s degree in Health Care Administration from Colorado State University.
