Summary: This position independently performs requested ultrasound examinations, searching for any possible pathology as indicated by the patient's symptoms/medical history and/or results from previous testing. The position reviews and discusses the ultrasound findings with the radiologist and a diagnosis is made. Responsibilities And Duties: 60% Performs various ultrasound examinations. Subjectively interprets information based on judgmental decisions by Ultrasonographers, requiring in-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and pathology. Maintains complete knowledge of wave form physics, i.e., , time gain compensation curves, attenuation factors, etc. , required to set equipment variable properly for appropriate imaging of specific anatomy. Assists Radiologists with performance of invasive procedures. 10% Independently evaluates normal vs. abnormal test results in correlation with patient history, previous examinations, lab results, etc. 10% Independently gives preliminary ultrasound results to attending physicians, surgeons, residents, etc. regarding any vascular ultrasound procedures as determined by site accreditation. 10% Teaches/educates imaging students, medical students and residents in basic scanning methods and instrumentation of ultrasound. 10% Maintains equipment and stocks supplies. The position is responsible for the overall coordination of testing processes within the campus and in conjunction with other OhioHealth hospitals and OhioHealth Laboratory Services. Summary: The Senior Consultant, Research Data and Technology, will develop and lead specialized technical data and technology activities for systems being used by OhioHealth Research Institute (OHRI) and OhioHealth. This position demonstrates advanced skills and knowledge along with the ability to support, guide, train or lead project team members and colleagues for the effective use of data and technology platforms and applications such as Research Electronic Data Capture tool (REDCap), research use in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), the enterprise Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) and/or other databases/applications and also serves as a liaison for Information Technology (IT) and/or Information Security (IS) requests. OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital is hiring a full-time registered Radiation Therapist in the Radiation Oncology department. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. This is a large and busy Radiation Oncology department located in two locations within the hospital and requires a therapist to be on call for add on or urgent cases. Call is rotated on a weekly basis among the 11 therapists. The department consists of three Linear Accelerators and two CTs. They also provide High Dose Rate Brachytherapy in the department. Delivers radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. Prepares patients for a course of Radiation Therapy inclusive of simulation, dose calculations and acquiring of treatment parameters. Summary: The Lead Radiation Therapist is the supervisor over the Radiation Therapy team at Riverside Methodist Hospital Radiation Oncology. They are responsible for maintaining adequate staff levels and making sure all the LINAC machines are well staffed. They maintain and prepare the daily schedule and the call schedule for our team. They partner with the providers and the nursing team to deliver high quality care to our patients and are the connecting link between the Radiation Therapy team and the department manager. They are responsible for addressing the immediate concerns of the radiation therapy team and escalating them when appropriate. Summary: This position operates imaging devices, computers, ECG units, laboratory equipment, dose calibrator and radiation survey instruments. Responsibilities And Duties: 55% Performs scintigraphic scanning as prescribed by physician. 25% Performs image manipulation and quantitative studies. Archives patient studies on computer and quality control studies. 5% Receives, stores, and prepares radioactive and non-radioactive materials in preparation of patient doses. Assures availability of proper doses for patients. 5% Performs quality control and maintenance procedures for scanning; maintains quality control and wipe survey statistics. Assures all equipment is performing properly to obtain quality examinations. 5% Consults with physicians; shows images and/or computer patient studies to radiologist and/or cardiologist. Provides physicians with quality data for interpretation. 3% Administers diagnostic or therapeutic radiopharmaceutical/ pharmaceuticals limited to those within the scope of practice, through various routes to patient, under the direction of a physician. 2% Demonstrates sensitivity to the physical and emotional needs of the patient through good communication. Mammographers are responsible for producing good quality exams in a timely manner while practicing good patient care and maintaining accurate patient records. The position assures the Mammography program meets all FDA Mammography Quality Standards Act and American College of Radiology requirements and standards. This position is part-time (24 hours/week) at the Delaware Medical Campus. Responsibilities And Duties: 75% Conducts Mammograms; Escorts patient to the room, completes proper documentation, and explains procedure to patient prior to mammogram procedure. Takes images for interpretation. Verifies images are of good technical quality. 15% Assists radiologist with stereotactic biopsy and needle localizations to include: machine calibration, sterile field set-up, explaining procedure to patient, offering consolation and ensuring comfort to the patient during procedure. 10% Performs quality control and assurance practices. Schedules preventative maintenance and calibration on equipment and schedules necessary repairs. Assures all mammography manuals are kept up-to-date. Keeps accurate and current QC logs to document variances, investigates and corrects any abnormal QC occurrences. Summary: OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital is hiring for a casual/PRN registered Radiation Therapist in the Radiation Oncology department. Our hours of operations are from 8am-4:3pm Monday through Friday and will reach out to the therapist as needed to fill open position due to time off, sickness, leave of absence, etc The Radiation Therapist delivers radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. They prepare patients for a course of Radiation Therapy inclusive of simulation, dose calculations and acquiring of treatment parameters. Responsibilities And Duties: 35% Administers Radiation Therapy treatments on a daily basis. 20% Maintains daily record of treatment, inclusive of daily dosages and calculations and other necessary treatment records. 5% Performs simulations, acquires treatment parameters, patient contours and dose calculations. 10% Therapists who are scheduled to work 80 hours per pay, may be required to be on-call for weekends and holidays on a rotating basis. 10% Maintains patient schedules for In-Patients and Out-Patients communicates frequently with families and hospital personnel to maintain schedule coordination and accommodate patients as best as possible. 10% Monitors patient Condition and progress on a daily basis. i.e., patient weighs, skin care, reaction, etc. . 5% Assists Radiation Oncologist in performance of Brachytherapy procedures. Oversees and directs clinical activities of Radiation Therapy Technology students.
