John Gaines manages United Guaranty's Pricing, Credit Policy, Underwriting Modeling, and Lender Evaluation and Management teams. He most recently held the position of senior vice president, deputy chief risk officer at United Guaranty. Gaines joined the company in 1998 in the Structured Products department, which he eventually managed. He has also served as senior vice president, National Accounts and chief operating officer of United Guaranty's operations in Canada. Gaines is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society. He earned a BS in mathematics from Bob Jones University and an MS in mathematics from Clemson University.

Joe Weider is executive vice president and chief business officer for United Guaranty, overseeing the core functional areas of Underwriting Operations, Premium Servicing, Loss Management, Digital Operations, Operations Training, Information Technology, and Data Analytics. Weider brings over 25 years of experience in technology leadership, management, and transformation. He is focused on deploying cutting-edge technology and streamlining processes to ensure United Guaranty is well equipped to meet the needs of its customers, today and tomorrow. Prior to joining AIG in 2011, he served in similar roles at The Coca-Cola Company, AFLAC, SunTrust, BB&T, and most recently, First Citizens Bancshares in Raleigh, North Carolina. Weider graduated from Mercer University with a bachelor's degree in management information systems. He serves as chairman of the Advisory Board, Information Systems and Supply Change Management, for the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is director emeritus of the Valley Rescue Mission in Columbus, Georgia. Weider currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina, with his wife and three children, where the family is actively engaged in all aspects of the community.

Beth Catley is a Chief Executive Officer Executive Assistant at United Guaranty and is based in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Charles Compton oversees the Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Treasury, and Structured Products groups at United Guaranty. He is responsible for the company's financial reporting and performance, capital management, and rating agency relationships. Compton joined the company in 2011, bringing strong leadership experience in both finance and insurance. Prior to that, he was executive vice president and chief financial officer of HSBC Insurance NA, where he was responsible for financial leadership of the company's North American insurance operations. At HSBC, he helped align the North American insurance business with the company's global retail banking and wealth models. Prior to joining HSBC, Compton was a partner at Adanac II LP. Before that, he was with Associates First Capital Corp. for 11 years, leaving as executive vice president for international insurance operations. Compton began his career at Ernst & Young after earning a bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas. He is also a certified public accountant.

Gloria Beissinger is a Senior Vice President-Chief Information Officer at United Guaranty and is based in Greensboro, North Carolina.

As chief customer officer, Greg Hare is responsible for all customer service functions across United Guaranty. In this role, he leads the Customer Experience department and transformational efforts in creating a customer-centric culture throughout United Guaranty. Hare also oversees the Marketing and Communications group, which handles all internal and external communications and marketing efforts for the company, including advertising, brand management, public and media relations, employee communications, and community affairs, including charitable giving. He joined United Guaranty in February 2012 and previously was with AGL Resources, a natural gas holding company based in Atlanta. Prior to that, he held a variety of positions with marketing and advertising agencies in both Atlanta and New York, working on campaigns for brands like Delta Air Lines, The Home Depot, Holiday Inn, and ESPN, among others. He earned both a BA in advertising and an MBA from the University of Florida.

Tom Parrent oversees United Guaranty's Risk department and is the chief risk officer (CRO) for all of the United Guaranty domestic insurance companies. Parrent, who joined United Guaranty in January 2014 from AIG, is responsible for counterparty risk, quality assurance, operational risk, strategy, governance, and limits and aggregation models for United Guaranty. Parrent joined AIG in 2012 as senior managing director of Asset Risk Analytics within Corporate Enterprise Risk Management. In that role, he had responsibility for structured products analysis, credit risk analytics, and asset stress testing. Prior to joining AIG, Parrent served as CRO for a large U.S. mortgage insurer. He has also held senior management positions at a number of major financial institutions, including GMAC ResCap, ABN AMRO, and Lincoln Capital Management. Tom earned a degree in economics from Princeton University and an MBA in statistics and finance from the University of Chicago.
