The United Ocean Services segment engages in the transportation of coal and phosphate rock; and shipment of fertilizer, alumina, petcoke, scrap metal, ores, and grains. This segment s operating fleet consists of two ships and three integrated tug-barge units. It serves the United States coasts, the Gulf of Mexico, and international markets. The company s customers include agricultural, industrial, chemical, and mineral companies. United Maritime Group, LLC was founded in 1959 and is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. The company is a subsidiary of GS Maritime Intermediate Holding LLC.
