About the Role:
We're looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated team players with at least 2 years of customer-facing experience to:
Deliver vehicles straight to customers' doors with our custom car haulers (don't worry - a commercial license is not required to drive the hauler and you will receive ample training)

Supervises and coordinates the departments activities in maintaining and repairing mechanical parts of pumps, cranes, compressors, automobiles, trucks, tractors, and similar equipment used in construction and maintenance. Inspects defective equipment in shop or field to determine extent of wear or damage to direct repairs. Supervises and coordinates activities of employees engaged in production machining and repair of metallic or nonmetallic workpieces, applying knowledge of machine shop procedures, machine tool setup, welding, operating techniques, and production machining methods.
Extensive knowledge of applicable laws, codes, standards, and industry practices relating to Machine Shop and Automotive maintenance and Plumbing trade work. Understand and operate according to State & Federal regulations, Company policy/procedures, and all safety requirements. Increase the site operational effectiveness, improve on project delivery, mean time between failure and down time reduction, and manage and implement improvement plans, driving key performance ensuring that project schedules, deadlines, health, safety and environmental requirements are adhered to.
Manage, plan, control and organize the planned preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on all of the fleet and other equipment in order to maximize their lifespan and ensure safety. This involves monitoring the performance of mechanical machinery ensuring remedial work is undertaken to prevent failure/loss of the facilities and equipment. Monitor the production of jobs and allocate the work on a daily basis to the mechanical technicians, monitoring progress and inspecting completed work to ensure the required standards are achieved.
Asses the needs for stocking critical spare parts for continuous production on all critical components. Assess the need of consumables and PPE to support repair efforts.
Manage e the introduction and purchase of new machinery, plant and equipment from specifications, to managing suppliers through to full installation in collaboration with all relevant work orders. Coordinate with the Purchasing Department the process of disposal of obsolete machinery, plant and equipment from gaining agreement to write off to physically removing it and its safe and lawful disposal.
Manage the application of and supervision of machine shop theories and procedures, shop mathematics, machinability of materials, and layout techniques: Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
Associate's degree / vocational or technical school degree, emphasis in Mechanical/Automotive/HVACHVAC/Welding/Plumbing is required. Preferred focus in Mechanical and/or Structural Trades.
Certifications in Mechanical and/or Plumbing Trades preferred.
Requires independent decision making, nonstandard problem solving, troubleshooting, planning, organizing and the supervision of Machine Shop, Automotive and Plumbing trades.
Must fully comprehend manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and/or setup requirements. Must be able to manage and verify employee techniques and work in same.
Must be detail oriented to guide and instruct employees in trouble shooting and finding causes of mechanical, plumbing and electronic malfunctions.

What You'll Do
* Develop an advanced sound strategy for the GM portfolio, collaborating with leadership to convert brand identities into musical language and frequency.
* Collaborate with Advanced Design, UX/UI teams, and the Noise & Vibration (N&V) center to create a comprehensive Sound Journey Map for vehicle audio. Integrate audio considerations into all areas of vehicle design and development.
* Design AI-based conversational and multimodal experiences, advocating for usability and user-centered design principles. Leverage usability testing, various research methodologies, and user stories to contribute to requirements.
* Utilize expertise in sound creation/production tools (Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Matlab) to craft compelling audio experiences for all GM brands.
* Promote conversation design best practice standards, reusable interactional patterns, and processes. Document design requirements, including sample dialogs, conversational flow diagrams, prototypes, and multimodal flows to communicate convey voice and haptic interactions and design ideas that leverage AI.
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand priorities, collaborate on actions to implement product and service solutions, and ensure a connected end-to-end user experience.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
* 5+ years of experience creating conversational design or automotive audio experiences.
* Formal education in classical music, music theory, musical history, or commensurate work experience.
* Proficient in common design tools (e.g.Figma, VoiceFlow, ProtoPie, etc).
* Proven experience in sound design and production, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise, craft, aesthetics, research, and depth of thought.
* Demonstrated experience with creating interactive prototypes for multimodal experiences (voice, sound, visuals, touch, chat, etc).
* Previous experience designing for Generative or Agentive AI-powered experiences (prompt engineering/prompt chaining). Basic understanding of machine learning & natural language processing (NLP) fundamentals.
* Skilled in creative problem-solving, effective communication, and maintaining meticulous attention to detail while working independently in a dynamic production environment.

Required

* Excellent collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization

* 1 year of experience operating complex networks and services and translating designs and architecture into operational practice and documentation
