The pay and benefits are unbeatable!
It is poorly managed and you often see mass layoffs and new local management.
The health and dental insurance is amazing!
The people and the opportunity for overtime. Great benefits.
Poor management and not a lot of opportunities to advance.
Health insurance.
Salary and benefits are good
Poor treatment by management creates a poor work environment. They see you as a number not a person and you are treated as such.
The salary and benefits are some of the best in the workforce.
The work-life balance in full-time management is very hard to achieve.
The insurance benefits and retirement were my favorite perks of the job.
It’s still a great job as long as you know you’re rights and are able to maneuver the human ram rods of in-building management. Most of them have done the labor job before going into non union low level in building managment.
Apparently it wasn’t always this way but UPS trains their management staff to manipulate and harass their labor staff into unsafe work practices and unrealistic time tables. As expected they value their numbers over their workers ability to safely provide for their families.
Being able to serve my community and create networks and relationships within the workplace that eventually overflow outside the walls of work. Your fellow teamster is your family, take care of each other
It had good structure and sportsmanship.
I didn't like my paycheck, the distance and the way the manager carried himself
401k
We’ll compensated, growth within the company, advance placement, union benefits
Management favoritism
Partnership as management
Pay benefits
Got laid off after holiday season
Good employees and management
The people you worked with.
Upper management was unprofessional and unorganized. Very low reward and high stress job with very minimal pay for what the job consists of.
Nothing.
I enjoyed the Benefits that came with working there, even as a part-timer.
Poor Management; lack of organization and communication/assistance was vague
Health care benefits are the main reason for staying with the company
how fast pace everything was and the time went by fast
how the supervisors treated their employees
childcare
Seeing how the business works. Free physical workout just for showing up.
Constant change in management and inconsistent rules.
Paycheck weekly and opportunity to advance my career.
The pay and the benefits
The coworkers and supervisors
Most of my health insurance is covered once I reach a certain limit.
The friendliness of the supervisors
The hard labor and injuries
Retirement plan
I really enjoy the Compensation at UPS. They pay their management really
Hard work on my body. Always sore
Quarterly bonuses
Coworkers, being part of a team.
Being forgotten by managers
Flexible schedule
The weekly pay, your supervisor can nominate you for being the best safe worker, and sometimes the hours are good
They never called to tell me the didn’t need me to come in so I would come in to work and be sent home and wouldn’t be able to make any money to manage bills, gas, etc
The health insurance you get but I never got mine before they let me go
Fast work pace, communicating with customers
Communication amongst supervisors was terrible
Health insurance and 401k
The other staff were nice
They didn’t pay me for all the hours I worked, I had to fight with my supervisor to get payed properly
n/a
benefits package
unmotivated team members unreasonable expectations minimal support structure
good health insurance
I enjoyed the work schedule and pay rate. The co-workers and supervisors were friendly and easy to get along with.
Getting different treatments than others (ex. Less hours, picking favorites, having to wait longer for my break due to others taking longer on their breaks w/o consequences)
helping others
management and no benefits
helping prospects to ensure their employment
Flexible Schedules, good starting pay, 5250 a year in tuition, cheap healthcare
toxic management
Helping customers solve their issues.
Ineffective local management organizational skills.
The work / family schedule.
Good benefits
Too much union drama and lack of support from upper management
Fellow Employees
I like the benefits. They offer really good benefits because of the union.
The management and employee interaction is terrible and it's not the healthiest work environment.
Some of the cheapest copays I've ever had.
The people I meet. The relations I developed.
The management.
The insurance.
