Job Purpose:
This role will be responsible for successfully supporting Marken's Cell & Gene Operations Team, taking an active role in the ongoing development of operational ability in Cell & Gene Therapy logistics, to ensure the highest levels of customer service, commerciality, quality & satisfaction.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for successfully supporting the Cell and Gene team with daily operations and liaise with the Control Tower Coordinators as it relates to cell and gene shipments.
Utilize technology to provide enhanced monitoring, management and control of shipments as required
Collaborate with LSPs, Branches and Depots to arrange and coordinate shipment solutions
Preparation, Placement, control and arrangement of appropriate packaging (Controlled temperature shippers & LN2 Dry shippers), equipment (GPS tracking devices, Temperature monitors) and trained operatives are according to Cell & Gene project specifications-COPs or SOPs.
Coordinating and Dispatching drivers for collections and deliveries ensuring that they are on time, and they adhere to the clients' expectations regarding documentation - GDP requirements.
Work with the regulatory team to ensure trade compliance for all Import and Export shipments
Book shipments with Airlines (Create MAWB) and Integrator to ensure best routing solution for all Cell & Gene shipments
Ensure proper handling and storage of all Cell & Gene shipments with Airlines and Ground handling facilities
Label and prepare shipments for Export (some heavy lifting may be required) and ensure that a driver is dispatched to meet the airline cut-off time for international shipments.
Ensure Marken's Maestro system performance compliance with all necessary data entry and confirmation of key milestones (departure, arrival, customs clearance, etc.) for all Cell & Gene shipments
Send pre-alerts to for all Cell & Gene shipments with Marken branches and local service providers and ensuring communication to confirm receipt of the pre-alert and shipment instructions.
Pre- and Post-flight shipment check and communicate with airlines and handling agents in case of delays or off-loads.
Escalate any issues or delays to the Cell & Gene Management Team.
Qualifications:
Professional experience in customer service operations, preferentially in the international air freight, logistics or distribution.
Previous experience in Export, Import and Transport preferred
Previous experience in the pharmaceutical and clinical trial industry preferred
Commitment to quality and attention to detail

Proficient in MS Office / Excel / Word
Compensation & Benefits:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The starting pay rate for this position is $22.30 per hour. Main Purpose:
The CGT Quality Assurance Associate (CGT QAA) is responsible for the oversight and implementation of the Marken Quality Management System (QMS), Marken Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), processes and policies required to manage and control Marken's Cell & Gene Therapy Network. The CGT QAA also needs to ensure compliance with applicable regional and local regulations and requirements, and client requirements as appropriate, but not limited to: current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP), Good Documentation Practices (GDocP), 21 CFR Part 210 and 211.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement, promote and maintain Marken's Global Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
Assist in the Management of deviations, complaints, audit records, CAPA plans, change controls, collation of quality metrics and trending, and identification and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
Evaluate the risk and impact of changes within scope of the CGT/QA team and advise on necessary actions, as applicable.
Interact with clients on Quality Assurance (QA)/ GxP related matters under management supervision.
Assist in internal audits including tracking of associated corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
Support Client audits and Regulatory Inspections- participate as a QA SME, prepare requested materials, review/approve Marken audit responses, follow up on CAPA identified.
Effectively interact with Marken operational departments and stakeholders to provide guidance and quality oversight of all CGT activities ensuring alignment to Marken's QMS.
Identify relevant GxP/Quality related training needs and deliver or make they are deliver where required.
Write the quality processes and procedures associated with job role with management guidance and effective controlled document approval.
Keep informed of regulatory changes within assigned
Country/Region
and promptly escalate changes to management.
Assisting in the evaluation of Marken-designated vendors and/or out-sourced activities.
Ensuring the accuracy and quality of records and documents.
Participate actively in all the internal Quality, CGT and/or other pertinent meetings.
Travel may be required for the performance of duties.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a Life Sciences field required.
Demonstrated knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Distribution Practices, Good Documentation Practice guidelines.
Related knowledge of local regulations.
Relevant technical experience and/or quality experience in a GxP industry or the equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience.

About the role - CDL Class B Driver (Zephyr, TX)
We are excited to announce an opportunity at Orica for a CDL Class B Driver within our Orica USA Commercial team.
This role will be responsible for driving and operating Orica's bulk trucks (Mobile Manufacturing Units ) and installing blasting products for our customers at local construction sites, mines, and quarries as well as being accountable for the upkeep and maintenance of the equipment.
This is a blended role that consists of 40% driving and 60% physical work related to the installation of blasting products. Responsibilities include product loading, driving a CDL truck, pulling hoses, and climbing on and off the truck in all types of weather conditions.
Additionally, this role will operate plant and equipment to provide blasting products while assisting in delivering a high-quality service of bulk explosives to customers. We prioritize safety and strive to ensure that all operations are always conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
Work schedule
Monday through Friday
Local driving (2-3 hours)
Early morning starts at approximately 4 AM - 5 AM
Work approximately 10-12 hours per day

Up to 10% of overnight travel may be required
What you will be doing
This is a hybrid position, consisting of approximately 40% driving and 60% physical work.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking and refilling fluid levels.
Ability to safely hook up and unhook trailers
Operate emulsion tanker trucks and box trucks as part of daily responsibilities.
Ensure raw materials and hazardous goods are handled, stored, and used in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Minimize environmental impact through waste reduction and control practices.
Immediately report any unusual incidents or accidents.

About the role - CDL Class B Driver (Bloomsburg, PA)
We are excited to announce an opportunity at Orica for a CDL Class B Driver within our Orica USA Commercial team.
This role will be responsible for driving and operating Orica's bulk trucks (Mobile Manufacturing Units) and installing blasting products for our customers at local construction sites, mines, and quarries as well as being accountable for the upkeep and maintenance of the equipment.
This is a hybrid role that consists of approximately 40% driving and 60% physical work related to the installation of blasting products. About the role - CDL Class B Driver (Louisville, TN)
We are excited to announce an opportunity at Orica for a CDL Class B Driver within our Orica USA Commercial team.
This role will be responsible for driving and operating Orica's bulk trucks (Mobile Manufacturing Units) and installing blasting products for our customers at local construction sites, mines, and quarries as well as being accountable for the upkeep and maintenance of the equipment.
This is a hybrid role that consists of approximately 40% driving and 60% physical work related to the installation of blasting products. Responsibilities include loading products, driving a Class B CDL truck, pulling hoses, operating manufacturing units control systems, and climbing on and off the bulk truck in various weather conditions.
Additionally, this role will operate equipment to provide blasting products while assisting in delivering a high-quality service of bulk explosives to customers. We prioritize safety and strive to ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times.
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday
Local driving (2-3 hours)
Early morning starts at approximately 4 AM - 5 AM
Work approximately 10-12 hours per day
Overtime may be needed
Up to 10% overnight travel may be required
What you will be doing
This is a hybrid position, consisting of approximately 40% driving and 60% physical work.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking and refilling fluid levels.
Operate emulsion tanker trucks and box trucks as part of daily responsibilities.
Ensure raw materials and hazardous goods are handled, stored, and used in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Minimize environmental impact through waste reduction and control practices.
Immediately report any unusual incidents or accidents.
Actively participate in daily toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings to promote a safe and collaborative work environment.
What you will bring
Minimum of one year of experience in driving and/or material handling (preferred).
Solid understanding of DOT regulations (required).
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent attention to detail and basic math skills to manage daily inventory tasks.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects, daily responsibilities, and urgent situations to maintain efficiency.
Physical Requirements
Work is performed outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and carry 50 pounds or more of product or materials.
Requires the ability to load product, pull large hoses, fill drilled holes, and climb on and off trucks.
Frequent shoveling of gravel to fill drilled holes throughout the day.
Regular pushing and pulling while working with equipment.
Other physical activities include frequent bending, squatting, and general mobility throughout the workday.
