Responsible for meeting established Credit Union and Branch goals for internal and external sales to existing and potential members. Build rapport with members to cross-sell financial products and services that deepen relationships and fosters branch growth while adhering to credit union policy and procedures. Accurately and efficiently process a variety of routine financial inquiries, transactions, and service requests. Secure credit union assets, balance transactions, and complete necessary reports. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:15am - 5:45pm and rotating Saturdays from 8:45am - 1:15pm at our Fridley branch; non-exempt. In addition: * High school diploma or equivalent (or in active pursuit of with a specified end date). * One year of experience interacting with the public or serving customers. * One year of cash handling experience, preferred. * Previous sales experience or strong interest in sales, preferred. * Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to help people. * Effective communication skills (verbal and non-verbal), interpersonal skills, and active listening skills. * Good decision-making skills and judgement. * Ability to perform calculations and proficiency in basic math skills. * Ability to organize and prioritize work and maintain accurate records. * Ability to communicate with a diverse membership and employee population. * A professional and friendly appearance and demeanor. * Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions. * Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks. * Regular and reliable attendance at the workplace. WHAT WE OFFER: The salary range for this position is $18.00 to $19.75 per hour +incentives.
