Maintains documentation in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures including but not limited to construction inspections and testing. Assists with staff training. Consults with owners, administrators, architects, and engineers in planning, design, and construction of licensed or proposed healthcare facilities. Provides assistance and coordination to personnel within the Department concerning Architectural, Engineering, and Fire/Life Safety issues pertaining to healthcare facilities. Performs other duties as assigned. When requested, participates as a member of Healthcare Quality's Emergency Response Team, serving in the Emergency Operations Center or other designated assignment. Participates in disaster preparedness and response and is designated as an essential employee, subject to duty and/or call on a 24-hour basis during an emergency. Minimum and Additional Requirements State Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree in architecture and experience as a registered architect. Support the integration of hardware and software into the existing environment. Works closely with all areas of the IT department, including help desk, PC technicians, network administration, and leadership. May own one or more functional responsibilities in the IT Infrastructure team. The nature of work will include, but is not limited to the following: Escalation resource for hardware, software, and network-related problems encountered by end-users. Lead the research and solution of new issues that arise related to general user applications, network security, and overall new technology. Scope and configure solutions to IT or business needs. Schedule, perform, and monitor system backups. Responsible for ordering Technology Supplies by delegation of the Infrastructure Operations Manager. May direct other Infrastructure team members by delegation of the Infrastructure Operations Manager. Design and deliver technology needs and solutions to meet Cuyahoga DD requirements. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure needs. Administers, Implements, and maintains operating systems. Responsible for configuration and support of software package development and installs using SCCM. Responsible for Mobile device software package installs. Responsible for software image creation for user hardware. Schedules, plans, and performs system upgrades. Maintains documentation on all application changes and recommendations. Interface with vendors for hardware/software recommendations. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of computer resources including hardware, software and networking platforms. Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot Windows workstations and servers, tablets, and Cisco IP phone systems with minimal assistance. Knowledge of Cuyahoga DD services and procedures. Ability to plan, coordinate and implement complex projects. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to function effectively and professionally with minimal supervision. Ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with a variety of people. However, it is important to understand that the actual starting salary for a new hire into this position will be determined based on many factors including the breadth and depth of the knowledge, skills, education and experiences brought by the candidate and the current market benchmark for similar positions at public agencies such as ours. Starting salaries are negotiable based on these factors, but we will also consider internal equity and budgetary constraints. Qualifications High School Diploma required; however, the preferred candidate will have either a bachelor's degree or Technical (Military) Degree with relevant experience in Computer Science. Demonstrated mastery of functional IT processes. Minimum eight years' experience on Windows workstation, server, and VMware preferred. Preferred certification in one or more functional areas (MCSE, CCNA, CISA, PMP) Ability to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment Minimum five years' experience in a complex, multi-level computer environment.
