great job security and travel if you want to, its not mandatory to travel. more opportunities if you are able to move around.
low pay, compared to the civilian work force and same duties, civilians are paid higher. government workers are limited per their position.
benefits, retirement, this list can go on forever. plenty of perks with the job, just perks don't make up for the missing top end of the missing pay.
Comradery
Leadership do not understand that sometimes you have to follow in order to be a sound leader.
Receiving a paycheck every two regardless of what is happening in the civilian world.
The Army is a very exciting organization to work for. I love the energy it brings to all the Soldiers and how it pushes a person to be the best they can be.
Though the military is a very wonderful experience, it also has a few flaws. Military pay is known to not really be all that exciting and most of us stay in because we love serving. But their comes a time when youll need a bit more zeros to make a happy life.
4 day vacations every month are something we love as Soldiers. But what benefits us most is free money for education. when you join after two years your eligible for 36k towards your GI bill. also while your in there is tuition assistance for free as well
Great benefits, leadership training and building bonds
The unpredictable hours
Retirement benefits
