Duties and Responsibilities

Typical assignments include:

Tracking and interpreting signs of illegal entry
Performing farm, traffic, building, city, and transport checks

Qualifications

Apprehending or restraining suspects in violation of law

JOB SUMMARY
The Revenue Cycle Analyst plays a key role in ensuring financial excellence across Campbell County Health. This position partners with the Revenue Cycle Director and cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify opportunities for improvement, and strengthen revenue management processes.
The role is responsible for tracking key performance indicators, evaluating vendor performance, and developing actionable plans that enhance efficiency and accuracy throughout the revenue cycle, including billing, charge capture, coding, denial management, and self-pay operations. The Revenue Cycle Analyst contributes to informed decision-making and ensures Campbell County Health receives appropriate reimbursement for services provided.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for collecting, documenting and analyzing reimbursement data.
Reports any reimbursement trends/delays to management. (e.g., billing, denials, claim denials, pricing errors, payments, etc.)
Prepares daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports - including ad hoc reports as needed.
Assist Management with generating reports.
Establish relationships with other CCH departments; build and maintain effective business partner relationships.
Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
Interacts frequently with other Finance staff, IT staff, PFS staff, HIM staff, Patient Access staff and Management.
Utilizes current payer contract terms and payer mix information to estimate net revenue calculations.
Monitors coding and billing updates or changes that could affect revenue and assesses contract terms and methodologies to ensure maximum reimbursement.
Maintains confidentiality of all personnel and personal health information.
Analyses and trends claim issues for root cause resolution, including chargemaster corrections, department education or other process improvements.
Work with Department Directors/Managers and any other staff to do billing reviews and identify opportunities to improve charge capture.
Understands insurance terms and contract language (e.g., HMO, PPO, Medicare Advantage, % of charges, exclusions, Timely Filing).
Fluent in understanding Coding rules/concepts; bundling issues, MUE and modifier issues, medical necessity, etc.
Familiar with CPT, HCPCs, and ICD10 Coding systems.

The Home Health Registered Nurse delivers high-quality, patient- and family-centered care in alignment with CCH's mission, vision, and values. The Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacy department with inventory management, stocking, maintenance, recordkeeping, filing, and drug orders under the direct supervision of the Director of Pharmacy and/or Pharmacist. Performs IV and Chemotherapy preparation as required and licensed for.
Order management activities for all internal and external Departments serviced by the Pharmacy Department.
Weekly ordering and restocking of all non-medication pharmacy supplies.
Performs all required unit dosing/ prepackaging duties.
Actively participates in the Quality program by assisting in identifying, documenting, monitoring, evaluating, and taking corrective action for quality improvement. Actively prepares for and participates in all regulatory inspections/surveys. Approaches work in a manner that makes quality improvement a part of every activity.
Participates in cross-training experiences and continuing education as requested.

About the Role
The Outreach Forester, Family Forest Carbon Program (FFCP), builds relationships with and provides direct technical assistance to landowners interested in the FFCP. This role ensures a positive experience and excellent stewardship of landowners involved in Improved Forest Management (IFM) and Afforestation, Reforestation, and Revegetation (ARR) practices of the Family Forest Carbon Program. First and foremost, this role will provide top-notch “customer service” and management information/options to landowners. Responsibilities
Steward a portfolio of landowners through the enrollment process, including conducting initial phone consultations, documenting outcomes, keeping track of follow-up steps, and sending communications to landowners using online Customer Relationship Management tools
Conduct on-the-ground visits with interested landowners, including conducting forest inventory measurements such as diameter at breast height, average stand diameter, tree height, and project area delineation.
Utilize forest measurements and make calculations using various computer tools, including Excel, Customer Relationship Management Tools, and ArcGIS to determine woodland eligibility and plan FFCP projects on behalf of landowners.

HSI Special Agent Basic Training: A mandatory component of continued employment is the successful completion of Basic Training, which consists of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) Criminal Investigator Training Program (CITP) and the HSI Special Agent Training Program (HSISAT). The training is approximately 22 weeks in total. You may be temporarily reassigned to a non-law enforcement position if you fail to complete basic training.
Physical Fitness Testing (PFT): A pre-employment Physical Fitness Test (PFT) will be administered. A passing score is required. If you have failed a PFT, you are not eligible for consideration for 12 months from the closing date of the announcement in which you applied that required the PFT. Additionally, a PFT will also be administered at FLETC during Basic Training. Every trainee must pass the PFT during training.

General Job Information This position is in The Office of the State Superintendent of Education(OSSE), within the Division of Transportation (DOT). The mission of OSSE as DC's state education agency is to set high standards, build educator and system capacity to meet those standards, expand educational opportunities for all learners with a focus on those underserved and hold everyone accountable for results. DOT is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services that positively support learning opportunities for students with disabilities in the District of Columbia.
The incumbent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all functional teams and areas within the division to ensure the effective and efficient daily operations of the special education student transportation system, including terminal operations, routing and scheduling, facilities and fleet management, customer engagement, audit and compliance and fiscal management. Further, the incumbent interacts regularly with union representatives, Local Education Agencies (LEAs), schools, and other personnel and stakeholders within the District of Columbia. This position works under the broad supervision of the Deputy Superintendent of Operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
The incumbent plans, directs, organizes, and controls the overall transportation plans for DOT. Provides guidance on internal transportation policies including ensuring compliance with federal and District laws and regulations. Develops and maintains data systems for the daily tracking, aggregated delivery and services to schools, students, parents, and the community. Implements and oversees successful rollout and training of new technology systems, including GPS and routingsystems. Administers federally and locally funded education transportation programs. Coordinates with local agencies in a timely, effective, and cost-efficient manner and ensures full compliance with all applicable District and federal laws, rules, and regulations. Implements strategic cost-saving measures and continuous operational efficiencies without compromising safety or service quality, while maximizing timely funding opportunities such as Medicaid reimbursements for eligible services. Monitors the departmental and office budget submissions and the aspects of federally funded programs. Performs finance auditing of the student transportation budget. Negotiates budget funding amounts, timing, and changes with directors and/ or program managers including the reprogramming of funds as needed.
The incumbent develops and provides oversight of safety, regulatory, and compliance functions comparable to the role of OSSE overall within the District. Monitors and enforces trainings, safety programs and protocols in compliance with state and federal laws. Collaborates with parents, school administrators, and the community regarding transportation concerns. Oversees the assurance of motor vehicles to guarantee that students are being transported in vehicles that meet the standards for school buses set forth in the National Standards for School Buses and School Bus Operations. Develops specifications and oversees contract administration for the purchase or lease, of contracted vehicles. Coordinates with private transportation for bid specifications and the delivery of services. Reviews transportation contracts for compliance and completes contractor performance evaluation.
Qualifications and Education
Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, or other fields related to the position.
Specialized Experience: At least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level.
Examples of specialized experience can include: Direct experience with budget and business plan development, including achieving measurable cost savings. Strong working knowledge of data analysis, data reporting and performance metrics using business management/transportation software. Contacts community providers for recruitment and enrollment into the IHSC provider network by executing a Letter of Understanding.
Liaises with IHSC stakeholders (Field Medical Coordinators and Referral Coordinators) when necessary to explain IHSC and VA FSC policy regarding claims processing.
Assist VA FSC when necessary, in coordinating and obtaining information pertaining to Medical Provider Authorization Requests (MedPARs) or information pertaining to eligibility in the alien tracking system.
Coordinate the purchase or rental of durable medical equipment (DME) for detainees in ICE custody.
Performs record keeping functions in accordance with program policies and position.
Maintains functional proficiency and ease of use utilizing electronic health records as required by, and appropriate to, position.
Completes all initial, annual and ad hoc training as required/assigned.
Serves as a team member for analyzing established protocol practices and identifying areas for improvement.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or financial management.
A minimum three years of experience in claims management, benefit, or third-party administration.
Knowledge of the basic principles and standards of eHR procedures and methods.
Knowledge of the documentation requirements, timeliness of referral management, and knowledge of eHR workflow to process electronic medical referrals and records, to review referrals and records for accuracy and completeness
Recognize documentation inconsistencies in referrals within the eHR ensuring compliance and resolution.
Should possess some knowledge of lnternational Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, 10th revision (ICD-10), current procedural terminology (CPT), diagnosis-related group (DRG), and other Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) coding/billing requirements.

Joining Customs & Border Protection (CBP) will allow you to utilize your expertise with the Medical Qualification team implementing medical requirements and making determinations for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection positions with a pre-employment medical requirement. As a Nurse Consultant on the Medical Qualification team, you will perform extensive review of medical records of job applicants to CBP.
This position starts at a salary of $120,579.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $156,755.00 (GS-13, Step 10).
Major duties include:
* Serving as an agency-wide technical expert in the field of medical and health programs with emphasis on employee Fitness for Duty Evaluation, Return to Work cases, and the Agency Drug-Free Workplace Program.
* Performing ongoing reviews of medical documentation submitted by employees to support requested leave in accordance with Federal laws, and transfers of Duty Station requests in compliance with provisions set forth in Collective Bargaining Agreements.
* Testifying in EEO and Merit System Protection Board hearings.
* Participating in job analyses to support the development of medical and physical fitness standards for certain job series within CBP.
* Serving as a Level II and/or III Contracting Officer's Representative (9COR) for the agency's medical services contract.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements
Education: A graduate or higher level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional registered nursing educational program is required. This education must have been accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs, Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education, or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
Degree from Foreign Nursing School: Official certification from the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools is required for individuals who graduated from foreign nursing schools.
Nurse Licensure/Registration: For all grade levels and positions, applicants must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination. In addition, they must possess and maintain a current, active, full, and unrestricted license as a registered nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
AND
Experience: In addition to the mandatory license and education described above under Basic Requirements applicants must have at least one or more full years of professional nursing experience that is equivalent to the next lower grade level. You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess one or more full years of professional nursing experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
* Providing medical expertise associated with broad range of health programs offered by the agency.
* Preparing case reviews, interpreting medical and other data.
* Researching medical issues and trends, including new medical technologies and treatment modalities.
