After-School All-Stars (ASAS) offers free programming to approximately 500 students in DC, mostly middle schoolers. Every day school is in session, from 3:15 to 6:00, ASAS provides academic support and a variety of enrichment opportunities to young people who otherwise have no access to extended learning activities. In addition to academic support, our program includes four enrichment components: Visual and Performing Arts, Health and Fitness, Career Exploration Opportunities, and Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) activities. Socio-Emotional Learning and mentoring infuse every aspect of the program. We create a safe space for students to share and process their lived experiences, to explore their interests and find their passion. We help them create a positive self-image and develop positive life-long habits and goals for a successful life and career. Member Duties : The AmeriCorps Program Site Lead supports afterschool academic and enrichment activities and data collection, activity planning, service projects, and evaluation effort in 6 Title 1 public schools in Wards 5, 6, and 8 in Washington, DC. AmeriCorps members engage students in learning and foster connections to their schools, communities, and one another; they facilitate daily after-school programming from 3 to 6 PM, focused on academic excellence and socio-emotional growth. The members will be instrumental in implementing mentoring programming alongside the Mentor Coordinator as well as collaborating with the Site Coordinator in the facilitation of online tutoring for students. The AmeriCorps members will recruit and leverage additional volunteers to support students, programming and service projects. AmeriCorps members will assist with the collection of data (e.g., daily attendance and students' surveys) to support the chapter's program evaluation activities.

Overview of position:
FEDITC is seeking an experienced, Microsoft Defender Endpoint Lead to support IT Security staff augmentation to develop plans to assess current cybersecurity state and develop processes for a fully implemented Zero Trust Architecture ZTA. In accordance with Executive Order (EO) 14028 (3)(b)(ii), plan to implement ZTA to strengthen the Cyber Hygiene and Security Posture for the Government Publishing Office (GPO).

Responsibilities:
Preparation of Task Order Management Plans, cost analyses, activity and project tracking schedules, risk registers, and risk and issue mitigation strategies for all GPO SOC activities. This task consists of:
Deployment of Defender for Endpoint agents to minimum threshold of Microsoft supported endpoint devices via Microsoft Intune or Active Directory (AD) Group Policy Objects (GPO)
Identification of target endpoint machines, OS versions, and deployment method
Creation of DfE deployment scripts, including uninstallation of legacy EDR and anti-virus solutions
Creation of DfE support infrastructure to support mass deployment (i.e., storage accounts, authorization, etc.)
Testing of DfE deployment scripts
Deployment of DfE agents to identified endpoint machines to scoped minimum threshold (percentage) of device endpoints
Verification of onboarding and reporting
Validate proper configuration to align with best practices
Qualifications
Experience/Skills:
"Candidate should be well qualified in 4 or more skills (desired) and corresponding experience"
Minimum 3+ working with Microsoft Cloud environments Government Community Cloud GCC-H/GCC.
Experience deploying and managing Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (DfE/MDE).
Skilled in Agent deployment using Microsoft Intune and Group Policy Objects (GPO)
Skilled in Creating and troubleshooting PowerShell deployment scripts
Onboarding, verification, and reporting from MDE console
Experience migrating from McAfee, Symantec, CrowdStrike, Cylance
Experience automating uninstall and cleanup via script
Experience supporting infrastructure to support deployments

Responsibilities

* Assist the Echelon I Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to review all Secretariat packages for collaboration and maintain current FISMA compliance for approximately thirty systems and various applications
* Plan, coordinate, and submit accreditation documentation requirements for mission and support software/applications as required.
* Coordinate/conduct server, application, and code scans (per Army CSSP and host platform requirements).
* Collect data to support reporting and IA management activities across the investment life cycle. Attend and assist in test events, cyber tabletops, and contractor reviews.
* Facilitate and support activities such as Cybersecurity, Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM), Airworthiness, Safety, and Net-worthiness.
* Assist in documenting Cyber Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to coincide with Program IMS, designate and develop cyber baselines and tests.

The Credible Messenger is a full-time position. Credible Messengers are mentors who are responsible for facilitating counseling groups and engaging in individual counseling with DYRS clients between the ages of 14 - 21. Credible Messengers possess knowledge of the juvenile justice system and outside referral systems in the District of Columbia. Credible Messengers must have an understanding of family structures such as blended, single-parent, dual income, and/or grandparents raising grandchildren, etc. The candidate must be familiar with social service organizations, DCPS, DC Housing, DC Courts as well as mental health, substance abuse and teen programs.
The Credible Messenger Initiative utilizes a group mentoring component that helps court-involved young adults transform the attitudes and behaviors that led to their criminal activity and increase a sense of commitment to community. The goal of the program is to help committed youth transition successfully out of the court-involved system by strengthening their attachment to educational, employment and mentoring opportunities. The core components of Credible Messenger Model include:
· A restorative justice group process where youth and families reconnect to their community.
· A Covenant of Peace curriculum delivered by culturally competent mentors.
· Individual sessions that focus on the goals identified in a youth's individualized development plan.
Responsibilities
· Assist in all new development and activity with the partnership.
· Lead and co-lead facilitation of individual and group counseling sessions to youth and families.
· Lead and demonstrate to new transformative mentor through shadowing method which is the best effective engagement strategies.
· Provide the Program Coordinator with timely and accurate documentation of all services provided, including client progress reports, court reports, unusual incident reports and case notes that you have completed regarding your engagement.
