The User Experience/User Interface Lead translates user requirements into intuitive user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for the applications of the General Services Administration's (GSA) Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) Program Management Office (PMO) goals. With strong project management skills and a deep understanding of OMB A-11 and capital planning processes, this role ensures policy requirements translate effectively into technical services tailored to diverse federal agency needs.
Responsibilities
* Champions the client's product vision through user research, ideation, prototyping, and usability testing to deliver engaging, accessible digital experiences.
* Seeks intuitive, accessible, and user-centered designs that enhance usability, improve user satisfaction, and drive effective mission delivery
* Implement, integrate, and maintain UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) to continuously improve the effectiveness, usability, and end-user satisfaction of CPIC PMO-managed applications by creating intuitive, accessible, and user-centered interfaces that help users accomplish their goals efficiently and with confidence
* Conduct and document agency user research and feedback sessions to evaluate usability, identify pain points, and capture insights that inform iterative improvements to the design, functionality, and overall user experience of new and existing features within CPIC PMO-managed applications.
* Develop and test interactive wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for neutral testing sessions that employ diverse test methods to validate design concepts,
* Collaborate with the federal Product Owner and the vendor Product Owner Proxy to incorporate the results of research and testing sessions
* Document and maintain UI/UX design standards for inclusion in style guides and component libraries
* Perform heuristic evaluation to advise improvements that increase usability, reduce user error and confusion, and increase task efficiency.
Qualifications
Required:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
* Minimum of seven years of experience with User Research, Documenting Project Requirements & Defining Business Processes in Agile Environments
* Familiarity with UI Wireframe Tools: Flairbuilder, Axure, Balsamiq, Sketch, InVision, Adobe Experience Design

What You'll Be Doing
Cadmus seeks a Senior Course Designer (TS/SCI required) to join our Health Security Team in our Public Sector Division (PSD). The ideal candidate must be talented, motivated, intellectually curious, flexible, and have experience in homeland security and public health.

Responsibilities
Develop public health curriculum
Construct tests and methods for measuring performance
Advise and assist in the instructional systems design, leverage existing and emerging technologies
Administer / facilitate training programs
Evaluate training programs for development, and optimize efficiency
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
More than 5 years of public health course design experience in the US Federal and/or State and Local space
BS/BA degree
Active TS clearance and SCI eligible - US Citizenship is required
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Prior consulting/professional services experience working independently to make decisions
Prior experience leading course development activities
Prior staff management and development experience
Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Demonstrated data analytics and visualizations skills using statistical and analytical software (GIS, Tableau, Excel, etc.)
Some domestic travel may be required (typically no more than 10%), primary location is DC (on-site)

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $105,000. The actual salary may be higher and will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
