Frito Lay's Maintenance Mechanic Internship program is designed to provide students an opportunity to work side by side with experienced mechanics while gaining hands on experience in rebuilding, repairing, troubleshooting, fabricating, and building industrial equipment. Providing suggestions for equipment replacement. Document and maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs Comply with all safety and PPE requirements as identified in plant protocols. May be assigned other duties as needed. Experience Required Minimum of three (3) years Industrial Maintenance Electrician experience required. Prior knowledge of green sand foundry practices, principles and equipment preferred. Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code. The ability to interpret and apply information on schematic diagrams, drawings and charts for fault isolation and repair of assigned systems and system subassemblies is required Education & Skills Required High school diploma or equivalent required.
