Qualifications Must-Have Qualifications: • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience) • 2+ years of experience in mortgage servicing or financial services, with a focus on cash management or reconciliation • Strong knowledge of mortgage servicing systems (e.g., MSP, LoanServ, Black Knight) • Experience with bank reconciliation software and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail and organizational skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills Nice To Have Qualifications: • Experience with custodial account requirements for FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA, or private investors • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines from CFPB, OCC, or HUD • Experience with reconciliation automation tools or scripting is a plus

Qualifications Must-Have Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in mortgage servicing, loss mitigation, or a related customer service/administrative role in financial services. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to handle sensitive customer information with discretion. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and loan servicing software (e.g., MSP, Fiserv, or equivalent). • Knowledge of loss mitigation options (loan modification, forbearance, short sale, etc.) preferred.

The Security Officer is responsible for the protection, safeguarding, safety, and security of assets, property, team members, clients and all visitors at all United Wholesale Mortgage locations. This Security Officer will use various telecommunications devices to call for assistance from fire fighters, police forces, and emergency medical services. They will provide general emergency care for team members and respond to medical emergencies. The Security Officer will also interview witnesses or victims to prepare case reports and testify in court if necessary. As a Late Stage Collections Specialist, you will work with borrowers who are significantly delinquent (typically 90+ days past due) on their mortgage payments. Your focus will be to engage, educate, and guide borrowers toward positive resolution, whether through reinstatement, loss mitigation, or foreclosure alternatives-always with a strong emphasis on compliance, compassion, and client experience. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING * Proactively contact borrowers in late-stage delinquency to review account status and recommend appropriate resolution strategies.• Explain UWM's available workout and loss mitigation options, including repayment plans, loan modifications, forbearance, short sales, and deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure.• Document all communications and borrower activities thoroughly and accurately in servicing systems (e.g., MSP).• Collaborate across internal teams including Foreclosure, Loss Mitigation, Legal, and Compliance to ensure timely and effective handling of defaulted accounts.• Follow regulatory guidelines from CFPB, RESPA, FDCPA, and investor requirements (e.g., Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA).• Prepare accounts for foreclosure referral or suspension based on borrower responsiveness and eligibility.• Deliver a best-in-class borrower experience with empathy and professionalism during difficult conversations.• Meet or exceed individual and team performance metrics while upholding UWM's culture of excellence.
