Follows up with discrepancies + Presents abnormal results to the provider promptly to ensure there is not an emergent condition that needs immediate attention + Post visit preparation of the clinical team charts for faxing, filing and forwarding to the PCP offices + Responsible for ensuring the completion of compiling results and entering chart noted prior to visit. This includes, but is not limited to, pull hospital records, lab results, specialty notes, and etc. + Ensures that follow up appointment dispositions are documented in CDSS and completed In eCW + Reviewing and ensuring that post visit recommendations from provider are completed such as prescriptions and referrals + Maintains patient confidentiality of all materials handled within the department as well as proper release of patient information at all times + Maintains certifications (MA and CPR) and quality control standards + Promotes positive work environment + May assist other members of their team with coordination of work + Performs all other related duties as assigned + Operates diagnostic equipment (cannot interpret tests), assists in removal of staples from superficial wounds, changes wound dressing and obtains cultures, administers non intravenous medication performs simple specimen collection via noninvasive techniques and collects blood specimens via venipuncture or via capillary, performs EKGs.
