The ClinicalPharmacist in Optum Frontier Therapies will be on the team of an exciting new business serving patients with rare diseases, pharma manufacturers, and providers by dispensing and servicing therapies at the frontier of healthcare. As a new Optum business, we are building on our strengths but also challenging the status quo. We are creating a business that is designed to specifically serve the unique needs of rare disease patient populations and support the emerging therapies, which require enhanced services and new capabilities over traditional specialty pharmacies. The ClinicalPharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the Optum Frontier Therapies pharmacy orders are verified with accuracy and quality. The pharmacist will execute pharmacy services including prescription data processing and verification, dispensing of drugs, supplies and equipment, and clinical pharmacy services for customers and patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, laws, and regulations that govern the practice of pharmacy. This role will be under direct supervision from the Clinical Operations Supervisor.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Primary Responsibilities:
* Platform coordination comprehension and proactive input into systems for patient and manufacture needs up to and including HUB, partnership platforms, front end/back end prescription intake/output, inventory management, etc.
* Provides primary pharmacist intervention service support throughout the patient's prescription lifecycle, including patient consultation, new/transferred prescription intake, prescription data verification, physician clarifications and interventions, claims/benefit coordination and resolution, order fulfillment, etc.
* Adheres to all pharmacy operations, practices and procedures to meet all licensing and standards requirements established by local, state and federal agencies as well as accrediting bodies (e.g. ACHC, URAC)
* Ensures compliance with all controlled substances related rules, regulations, company policies and maintains proper communication and coordination with other departments and staff
* Compliance to all REMS program requirements, as applicable.
* Compliance to and education for all accreditation programs including VAWD, ACHC, URAC, etc.
* Monitors for compliance with all HIPAA regulations, adherence to all State and Federal regulations and laws, accrediting bodies, adherence to all pharmacy accepted standards of practice, responsible for handling complaints and / or grievance programs
* Provide oversight of the safety; appropriateness, and effectiveness of the pharmaceutical care provide to patients (consumers) as it relates to specialty products dispensed
* Provides insight to platform improvement(s) and process improvement(s)
* Willingness to obtain and maintain state specific non-resident licensure to provide business continuity for site
* Completes special duties or projects as assigned by leadership

Required Qualifications:
* BS Pharmacy or Pharm D
* Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license in MI or NV
* 2+ years of experience in a fulfillment industry setting
* Working knowledge of processes related to meeting regulatory compliance requirements
* Proven solid verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal relationship skills
* Proven exceptional organizational, time - management skills working toward hard deadlines
* Proven excellent troubleshooting, problem solving and interpersonal skills effective with multiple levels / professional disciplines as well as patients, families, staff and physicians
* Proven team player and collaborate across functions
* Ability to lift 50 pounds
* Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
* Flexibility to work on site, telecommute, with potential to be full work at home
Preferred Qualifications:
* Multi-state pharmacist licensure

Basic Qualifications

This position is 2nd shift Monday through Friday 1:30 pm - 10 pm CT
*Beginning January 2026, the shift would be Monday through Thursday (Friday off) 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm CT and Saturday 4 am - Noon CT.
Responsibilities
Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of patient orders by managing fulfillment operations workflow.
Interpret physician prescriptions and compound medications in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Monitor drug therapies and recommend interventions to optimize patient outcomes.
Lead and supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring quality and compliance in pharmaceutical preparation.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection-control protocols and operational procedures.
Stay informed on current and emerging legislation to advise management on necessary actions.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team success through strategic problem-solving and collaboration.
Required Qualifications
Valid TN pharmacist license.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting.
BS in Pharmacy or PharmD
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate degree from an accredited pharmacy college recognized by the ACPE
Experience in specialty pharmacy or fulfillment operations.

Join ProHealth as a Pharmacist In-Charge (PIC) at our Maitland, Florida location and lead pharmacy operations to ensure compliance, quality, and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
Oversee pharmacy operations to maintain compliance with state board and regulatory requirements.
Perform hands-on clinical and operational pharmacist duties to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications
Required:
B.S. degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
Active Florida Pharmacist license and ability to register as PIC.
Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty pharmacy services.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and pharmacy software systems.
Strong clinical knowledge and ability to manage complex therapies.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Preferred:
Certified Specialty Pharmacist (CSP) or willingness to obtain certification.
Experience in health system specialty pharmacy operations.
Multiple state pharmacist licenses or willingness to obtain additional licenses.
Familiarity with pharmacoeconomic programs and performance improvement initiatives.

The ClinicalPharmacist provides comprehensive oversight of prior authorization (PA) processes and serves as a clinical subject matter expert for PA and Appeals teams. This role drives modernization and automation initiatives, ensures regulatory compliance, and leads annual readiness activities, including Medicare Part D Continuation of Care (COCA). **Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Clinical Oversight and Support
+ Ensure accurate and compliant prior authorization decisions through interpretation of clinical criteria and quality audits

+ Medicare Continuation of Care (COCA)
+ Lead COCA implementation, including drug identification in partnership with formulary and strategy teams
+ Ensure COCA processes meet CMS standards and timelines; partner with PBM for operational execution
+ Quality, Analytics and Performance
+ Develop and manage clinical quality programs (e.g., inter-rater reliability, decision accuracy, appeals overturn rates)
+ Use data analytics to identify root causes, prioritize improvements, and measure impact
+ Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) with an active, unrestricted pharmacist license

+ 5+ years of in-depth knowledge of Medicare Part D and CMS guidance, including coverage determinations and redeterminations
+ 5+ years of proven experience leading clinical oversight of PA/Appeals teams
+ 5+ years of strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and/or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
+ 5+ years of experience in pharmacy adjudication systems

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
