You will work with multiple staff Radiologic Technologists and support staff, depending upon the shift selected. You will be rotated through third shift every 3 weekends and may have to fill in other shift hours as needed. We have multiple positions open. In the past there have been opportunities to train in CT and other modalities as they become available. You will be trained in the operating room for surgeries using a c-arm and or o-arm. Tasks/Responsibilities: Produce diagnostic images using our protocols and knowledge of positioning to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest, while respecting patient's comfort and ability and range of motion Obtain adequate patient history, explain procedures to the patient, while addressing patient concerns Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and ensure processed images are in proper order of exposure, and appropriate identification of patient and anatomy imaged Set techniques and have a working understanding of correct exposure according to patient age and body habitus Work closely with our support staff and board-certified Radiologists for the best patient care that we can provide. MINIMUM EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Professional knowledge of Radiology and practice at a level normally acquired through the completion of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
