We are seeking an experienced Underwriting Manager with strong client-facing skills to lead underwriting operations and ensure sound risk assessment practices. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance risk management with business growth, while maintaining excellent relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Primary Responsibilities: * Lead and manage underwriting team to ensure accurate risk evaluation and adherence to company guidelines * Serve as primary client-facing contact for underwriting-related discussions, providing clear communication and professional guidance * Review and approve complex cases, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards * Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to support business objectives and deliver exceptional client experiences * Analyze financial and risk data to develop underwriting strategies that align with profitability goals * Train and mentor team members, fostering professional development and continuous improvement * Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to maintain competitive and compliant underwriting practices You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
