**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Conduct comprehensive inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial properties to verify compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and other applicable standards.
2. Review building plans, blueprints, and specifications to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and identify potential issues or discrepancies.
3. Perform on-site inspections during different phases of construction to evaluate structural integrity, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and overall safety measures.
4. Document inspection findings accurately and thoroughly, including any violations, deficiencies, or areas of non-compliance, and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
5. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address compliance issues, provide guidance on corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
6. Respond to inquiries from property owners, contractors, and the public regarding building codes, regulations, and inspection processes.
7. Stay informed about changes in building codes, regulations, and industry best practices, and participate in training and professional development activities to maintain current knowledge and skills.
8. Assist in the enforcement of building codes and regulations by issuing citations, stop-work orders, or other enforcement actions as necessary.
9. Provide guidance and support to colleagues and junior staff members and assist in the training of new inspectors as needed.
10. Represent the department and interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and promoting a culture of compliance and safety.
**Qualifications:**
- ICC Certifications potentially to include:
ICC Residential Building, ICC Commercial Building, ICC Residential Combination, ICC Commercial Combination, ICC Residential Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing, ICC Commercial Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing, et al.
- Previous experience in building inspection, construction management, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of local, state, and national building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Certification as a building inspector or ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify problems, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using computer software and technology for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Site Quality Inspector, you will:
Be responsible for inspecting all site welds and ensuring compliance with governing guidelines.
Stop and report all unsafe conditions and acts.
Understand the governing construction codes.
Understand the inspection and test plan requirements applicable to the work scope.
Ensure welders are qualified for the welding being performed.
Inspect the welds, assigns numbers for the weld map, create weld logs.
Perform all aspects of Hydro-test and Turnover Package maintenance.
Utilize punch lists to identify incomplete items and present to supervision.
Compile all appropriate documents in the turnover package.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 2 years professional experience with piping inspection
Turnover package creation
Experience with at least one of the following: Heat Maps, Weld Maps, Hydro Packages
Certified Welding Inspector with AWS or similar
Knowledge of ASME codes and applications
Has administered weld tests, as required
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a constantly changing environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel, WORD, Outlook, and technical aptitude to learn new systems

The person in the role will work under the direction of the Florida Business Unit Manager and is subject to annual performance evaluations. The Inspector will perform technical inspections to enforce compliance with building codes, regulations, and ordinances.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provides exemplary customer service to all individuals by demonstrating a willingness to be attentive, understanding, and responsive, fair, courteous, as well as respectful, and to actively participate in maintaining a positive customer service environment
Inspects commercial, industrial and residential buildings during various stages of construction and remodeling to ensure compliance with applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Receives orders, obtains information, and gathers paperwork from Operations Supervisor(s) on commodity movements.
· Ensures that all equipment is in good operating condition - clean and calibrated. This includes safety and monitoring equipment appropriate for the job.
· Reports to job-site punctually and observes all Bureau Veritas applicable federal and state regulations and standards, Terminal, Refinery, and/or vessel requirements, including safety and measurement standards.

About this Role
The Civil Inspector will oversee civil inspection activities for projects located in the West Texas area near Colorado City, Lamesa, and Garden City, TX. This role will perform duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance to referencing code. Non-exempt role; Reports to Site Manager; Close Supervision assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

Valid NDE certifications and relevant experience
