Qualifications
KILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to prioritize, work well under periodic stress and pressures. Demonstrates an understanding of funding entities. Basic understanding of computers. Able to work flexible hours. Regular and predictable attendance. Experience with AS4OO and Windows 95 (or higher) computer programs preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Six years of experience in admissions or intake position is required, or a degree in a health care related field could substitute for three years of experience in admissions or intake position.
PHYSICAL/GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: : Ability to sit for 6 to 7 hours a day at a desk and/or table. Ability to walk 3 to 4 hours a day or more through and between hospital departments with intervals of frequent standing, bending, reaching, and stooping to assist patients. Ability to hear and speak clearly over the telephone for 6 to 8 hours a day. Ability to use office equipment such as computers, telephone, or copier. Ability to be emotionally stable to accommodate frustrated or angry clients on the telephone and in person in a calm manner.

Qualifications
Requirements:
Education: Master's Degree and Licensed by State of Texas in Counseling (LPC)
Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in the mental health field.Minimum of 2 years experience providing therapeutic services, case management. Prior intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention experience with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting. Prefer knowledge of hospital admission functions, psychological assessment and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnoses symptomatology, basic chemical dependency, age specific growth and development and crisis and behavior management.

Texas NeuroRehab Center is seeking a Director of Neuropsychology to lead our comprehensive neuropsychological services across multiple treatment settings.
Position Overview:
The Director will provide neuropsychological assessment and intervention services to diverse patient populations, oversee department operations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. The optimal candidate will have lifespan experience. This position is supported by an experienced psychometrist and offers opportunities for clinical supervision of doctoral trainees.
Patient Populations:
* Adults: TBI, stroke, neurodegenerative disorders, polytrauma, behavioral health conditions across LTAC, inpatient rehabilitation, and post-acute brain injury residential settings

Maintains a clean, orderly and safe environment for patients and visitors. This includes cleaning, sterilizing, and storing instruments in accordance with practice policies. Stocks rooms in preparation for the daily work schedule. Takes inventory of medical and exam room supplies.
Complies with established personal protective equipment requirements necessary for protection against exposure to blood and other potentially infectious body fluids, chemical disinfectants, radiation, and other hazardous substances.
Arranges for specialized consultations and appointments for testing as ordered by the physicians. Notifies appropriate insurance personnel to pre-certify surgeries or tests ordered by the physician or other health care provider, which require pre-certification by the insurance company.
