Qualifications Education and Experience: * Associate's degree from an accredited College or University in related field required. * Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in related field preferred. * Graduation from an accredited trade school preferred. * Three (3) to Five (5) years of continuing advanced responsibilities in Plant Operations. Healthcare experience strongly preferred. * Minimum one (1) year supervisory experience. Assist patients in preparation for venipuncture procedures. Explains procedures to patient/family to gain cooperation and understanding. 2. Perform venipuncture using universal precautions/personal protective equipment and approved techniques to ensure appropriate patient care. 3. Complete all paperwork and documentation as required for each exam performed. 4. Utilizes Order Entry System to access orders and complete exams. 5. Obtain specimens, ensure adequate quantity for tests ordered; label and store specimens in appropriate containers, and complete applicable logs. 6. Respond to draw requests and with appropriate attention to order frequency and indicators of medical emergency (i.e. STAT, ASAP, and timed draws). 7. Assist with the scheduling of tests and appointments. 8. Recognize patients' privacy and safeguard those rights. 9. Respond to life-saving situations following policies, procedures and protocol. 10. Participate in the development, implementation and follow-through of departmental quality improvement activities. 11. Stock supplies as necessary 12. Job Description: The Program Dietitian works with the attending physician, Director of Virtual and Nutrition Services, and the treatment team to develop the individualized treatment plan for patients in the eating disorder and behavioral health programs. This includes completing nutritional assessments, developing, and monitoring meal plans and providing patient, group and family nutritional education. The Dietitian may also participate in providing education to referral sources regarding eating disorders in general and the program in specific.
