RELOCATION OFFERED
This CDIS, Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist on-site only opportunity is full time @ 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient flexible schedule. This individual will provide clinically based concurrent and retrospective review of inpatient medical records to evaluate the utilization and documentation of acute care services. The goal of concurrent review includes facilitation of appropriate physician documentation of care delivered to accurately reflect patient severity of illness and risk of mortality. Specific reviews are both determined internally and by requirements/requests of external payers or regulatory agencies and play a significant role in reporting quality of care outcomes and in obtaining accurate and compliant reimbursement for acute care
services.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
* Conducts initial and extended-stay concurrent reviews on all selected admissions, and documents findings within CDIS (electronic review system), denoting all key information (including working DRG and queries) utilized in the tracking process
* Able to utilize inpatient admission criteria to assign only diagnoses that meet acute care criteria. In the advent that diagnosis does not meet admission criteria, communicates with Case Management Department to determine the appropriate patient status.
* Collaborates with physician, physician extender, nurse, case manager/utilization review and HIM coder to identify principal diagnosis options, secondary diagnoses including complications and comorbidities, and procedures, to assign working DRGs for at least 80%-85% of the identified populations
* Identifies need to clarify documentation in medical records, and utilizes strong communication skills with physician, physician extender, case manager, utilization review, nurse or other healthcare professional, utilizing appropriate tools to capture needed documentation
* Utilizes monitoring tools to track the progress of the DRG Assurance program, through interpretation of the CDIS tracking reports, monitoring reports and data. Able to identify areas of focus through report analysis. Serves as a resource to physicians and Administration regarding issues related to the appropriateness of inpatient DRG assignment.

Job Summary:
The Director, Risk Adjustment, under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring all aspects of a robust Risk Adjustment Program across Prominence Health Plan's (PHP) Medicare Advantage and Commercial Small Group and Exchange products. The objective of the Risk Adjustment Program is to ensure compliance with CMS coding and documentation requirements in order to optimize clinical quality and revenue opportunities for Prominence Health Plan.
Key responsibilities include optimizing PHP revenue opportunities by ensuring members receive appropriate medical care that is accurately coded so that the members' risk scores are optimized and compliant with regulatory reporting standards. The manager will have accountability for the internal ICD-9/10 process meeting CMS and DHS compliance requirements, the preparation for and management of the Risk Adjustment Data Validation (RADV) audit process and other similarly related audits, the development and implementation of the prospective diagnosis coding program, including coordinating effective provider education and training, management of the retrospective medical record review process, and vendor contract management. Must work collaboratively with other PHP departments, including Actuarial, IS, Legal, Health Services, Network Management, Quality Improvement and others to manage the risk adjustment process. Must develop or purchase tools that will result in leveraging information to manage member analytics in order to more effectively direct resources and activities to meet risk adjustment objectives. In carrying out these responsibilities, The Director works closely with external vendors and consultants, runs outsourced health risk assessment programs, develops training programs & tools to address the educational needs of providers and non-clinical staff, assists in the development of analytic and reporting tools, and assists in the development of data collection systems and workflows to fulfill CMS requirements.

This Surgical Services Business Manager opportunity is full time at 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient day shift schedule. Responsibilities Northwest Specialty Hospital, an extension of Northern Nevada Medical Center, brings expanded services to a new building located at 6225 Sharlands Ave. in Northwest Reno. The facility will offer acute rehabilitation and adult behavioral health services.
Our acute rehabilitation services include occupational, speech, and physical therapy for adults recovering from stroke, injury, or another disabling condition. We offer advanced treatment for a wide range of conditions including stroke, brain injury, amputation, neurological disorders, major multiple traumas and spinal cord and back injuries. All patients will experience private rooms, have access to a newly renovated therapy gym, and personalized care from our qualified staff.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
* Assists the Pharmacist in providing medication, drug information and pharmaceutical services to patients, nurses, physicians and other hospital personnel.
* Demonstrates ability to calculate figures and amounts relating to dosage calculations when filing various prescriptions ranging from the newborn to the elderly populations.
* Prepares intravenous solutions and admixtures.
* Assists in filling prescriptions.

Qualifications
* High School graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an approved Pharmacy Technician school or equivalent work experience & PTCB certified.
* Minimum of two years (2) required, preferable in a hospital setting.
* Automation experience with knowledge of reporting features (i.e., optimization, load/unload, nursing narcotic access, etc.)
* Licensed by Nevada Board of Pharmacy & Certified by PTCB
* Automated pharmacy systems.

Qualifications

Resident Mentors work as members of the treatment team alongside other mental health professionals, therapists and nurses. Mentors work in the residential treatment setting. They assist in observing patient behavior on an ongoing basis to monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans and document progress in patient charts. Mentors assist with programs, activities of daily living, recreational opportunities and meals.
Resident Mentors act as a role model for our patients (ages 6-17 years) by demonstrating appropriate behavior and applying active listening techniques. They also establish therapeutic interpersonal relationships with assigned patients through one-on-one interactions in order to accomplish treatment plan goals.
Our Resident Mentors protect patients' rights by demonstrating appropriate professional and personal behavior, reporting observed violations of patients' rights and suspected or known instances of client abuse or neglect. Mentors are called to respond to safety and security issues according to established procedures and will transport patients to and from scheduled appointments and outings using company vehicles.
