We are seeking a full-time Outpatient General Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team as an Independent Contractor at Heritage Oaks Hospital in Sacramento, California. In this role you will provide IOP and PHP services to adults and adolescents. Inpatient work is also available if interested. Position Summary:

Qualifications
Education:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in healthcare or related field, preferred.
Experience:
* 6 months of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred.
Additional Requirements:
* CPR certification required. Successful completion of the hospital's designated behavioral and physical management training program or equivalent including de-escalation and appropriate use of seclusion and restraint required prior to assisting in the procedures. CPR certification and behavioral management certification must be maintained during employment. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.

An Outpatient clinician provides quality psychotherapeutic and case management services to all patients and their families, to serve as a member of interdisciplinary team supporting the organization's outpatient treatment program and philosophy and assure the deliverance of quality treatment to patients and their families. The Adolescent Department Assistant (Outpatient) is responsible for overall clerical and administrative support duties for the Outpatient Program. This position welcomes patients and visitors in person, virtual, and over the telephone. Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
