REPORTS TO: Chief Operations Officer
SUPERVISES: Maintenance Workers and Contracting Staff
POSITION PURPOSE: The Plant Operations and Environment of Care Director ensures the maintenance of a safe, clean, healthy, and physical environment for patients, staff and guests in the standard consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Laurel Ridge Treatment Center. The Director is responsible to manage FTE's and budgetary daily initiatives within that department. Responsibilities also include state, federal, local and Managed Care regulatory compliance for Fire and Life Safety Codes, building and engineering codes, maintenance and operations of HVAC equipment plumbing, electrical, carpentry and grounds maintenance. Strong management skills and the ability to communicate in verbal and written form, in a clear concise manner with staff and administrative personnel is required.
JOB SUMMARY: This position directs and coordinates activities of this Director's staff that will engage in repairs, maintenance and installation of plant equipment. This position assures the maintenance of building security, safety, grounds, and utilities are up to standard 24/7/365. This is accomplished through utilization of Shared Services Staff, cost effective labor, equipment and supplies. The Director's role is one of fire marshal, plant safety manager, chief security officer and chairman of the Safety Committee. This position also exists to protect life and property of all persons on the hospital premises and to police the hospital grounds to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: College graduate; preferably with Facility Engineering Degree or work experience equivalent.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Valid Class C driver license; clean driving record.

POSITION PURPOSE: To develop and educate direct Military and VA referral relationships in designated regional area markets. Travel to assigned military installations to educate referrals sources about Mission Resiliency and VA programs, the clinical criteria, programming, data, and administration & admission process to generate desired utilization/admissions to the facility's continuum of care. To provide the pinnacle of customer service to all accounts, internally and externally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop and implement strategic military and VA referral account management plans that support the facility clinical resources, resulting in admissions to the facilities programs.
* Support and model high customer service standards internally and externally.
* Participate in clinical orientation to units and/or programs and stay abreast of service line changes that may be important to facility customer base; thus generating potential admissions.

* Develop & participate in educational forums in relation to the military/VA internally and externally.
* Participate in outreach military/VA educational organizations within designated areas to include installations in services, CEU's, special events, physician visits, etc.
* Identify and develop new military/VA referral sources for education and awareness of clinical services provided by Laurel Ridge Treatment Center & administrative criteria.

* Work as a team with the Military/VA and Civilian/VA Business Development Departments while in the office and on the road.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Good verbal and written skills. Completion of a sales training program preferred. Military marketing experience. Skills in public speaking and problem solution. Excellent customer service skills. Travel required; financial ability to travel.
EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Marketing/Public Relations/ Counseling or a social science related field (minimum) or equivalent military experience.

We started out as a small operation in California. In May 1969, we acquired four hospitals, some additional care facilities and real estate for the future development of hospitals. Over the years, we've grown tremendously in size, scope and capability, building a home in new markets over time, and curating those homes to provide a compassionate environment for those entrusting us with their care.

Summary
Performs patient treatments as indicated by the treatment plan. Documents treatments given, including frequent and objective measurements. Works
with pediatric through geriatric patients with clinical competency. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory

Education:
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Associates Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant. Active U. S. military service
members or veterans with any military service, training or education verified and credited by an accredited PTA
program is acceptable.

POSITION PURPOSE: The Activity Therapist is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating age appropriate therapeutic recreation programs for behavioral health patients based on evidence-based practice. Recreational Therapists provides group therapy, expressive therapies, recreation and psych education in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team. * Develops department Policies and Procedures as needed.

* Schedules use of all recreational facilities throughout the hospital.
* Assumes duties of S.T.S. Director in their absence.
* Oversees and evaluates Internship program.
* Supervises Special Events provided by STS department.
Qualifications
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
* Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
* Knowledge of age-appropriate recreational/music activities and the ability to modify and/or adapt activities to suit specific populations and treatment plan.
EDUCATION:
* Bachelors degree from an accredited university in Therapeutic Recreation or Music Therapy.
* Masters Degree in Recreational Therapy preferred
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS:
* Current Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) certification through the National Council of Therapeutic Recreation Certification required.
* Music Therapist Board Certified preferred
* Must have current High and Low Elements Facilitator Certification or acquire within 90 days of hire.
EXPERIENCE:
* Must have a minimum of 1 year in experience in program development, implementation and evaluation of recreation/music therapy programs in a psychiatric or hospital setting.
