Job Description:
• The TrakSYS Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and enhancements for TrakSYS-based MES solutions.
• The role involves diagnosing and resolving system issues, supporting end users, monitoring performance, and ensuring seamless MES operation across manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide Level 1 / Level 2 Support for TrakSYS MES application.
• Monitor system performance and ensure continuous up time.
• Identify root causes and coordinate fixes with development team, ERP team, WMS team, Infrastructure team, Network team or Vendor team and business users.
• Query and analyse TrakSYS SQL Server database table for investigation and resolve data-related discrepancies to maintain data accuracy.
• Troubleshoot TrakSYS integration issues with ERP (e.g., SAP), WMS (e.g., Blue Yonder), and PLCs (e.g., KepServer OPC).
• Troubleshoot TrakSYS configurations (e.g., Modules, Services and Workflows) and apply changes.
• Handle incident management and services requests through ticketing tools e.g., Service Now.
• Maintain support documentation, change logs, and knowledge base articles.
• Track SLAs, KPIs, and recurring issues for continuous improvement.
• Support scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and deployments.

Develop and deliver Acadis-related documentation in support of the client(s) business mission. Examples include: product/process reference guides, SOPs, training handouts, etc.
Generate daily/weekly reports, exports and printouts that are part of the operational support for the Acadis Readiness Suite identified by the client(s).
Manage the collection and pre-processing of external data needed for regular, business-critical data import tasking. All data-related activities will conform to client- and/or industry-established best practices for sensitivity and security.
When required, provide administrative support to manage the Online Content library used with the Acadis LMS module, including creating/managing standalone Online Events, student assignments, tracking and reporting on progress of student/learner completions.
Advocate within the Acadis/Vector Solutions organization on behalf of assigned client(s), communicating issues and support-oriented business needs.
Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of Acadis/Vector Solutions products and services, providing expert advice and guidance on solutions for specific client needs.

Under direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Infrastructure Operations the Network & Communications Analyst I provides entry-level support for the ITS-Infrastructure Services group and its interactions with other campus systems and services. * Conduct a quarterly vulnerability penetration test to identify weaknesses within the network.
* Evaluate and resolve network connectivity issues through effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and partners to ensure prompt resolution of problems, including on-site support as needed.
* Research and recommend best practices, new technologies, and tools to enhance the district's network and security infrastructure, following NIST and CISA standards.
* Perform ongoing design, implementation, and monitoring of all district WAN, LAN, wired and wireless networks, network security measures, and violations, proactively resolving problems and capacity planning;

The IT Endpoint and Inventory Administrator is a primary resource for supporting a complex organization of educational, research and clinical programs throughout the entire Department/School. The IT Endpoint and Inventory Administrator implements and continually improves the services of the divisions that have become an integral part of the School's success. The IT Endpoint and Inventory Administrator will be responsible for providing best practice support for end users, while helping to assure that the services provided are compliant with all UW Medicine Policies. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Endpoint Management (45%)
The IT Endpoint and Inventory Administrator is independently responsible for the complex management and tracking of the Department of Medicine's computing devices. These responsibilities include:
Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of a robust IT inventory system to track equipment lifecycle and reporting.
Utilize various systems to create robust reports on the current state of end-device systems. Specific applications include SCCM, JAMF, SharePoint Services, SQL Server, Active Directory, etc.
Document and track IT end-user devices from the moment of purchase through disposal ensuring compliance with UW and Department of Medicine policies and procedures
Continually research and analyze emerging technologies and use this knowledge during the planning of next-generation inventory and end-device management systems. Use expert knowledge during the advisory process of purchasing new systems and technologies.
Work with outside vendors to evaluate new hardware and software options, make recommendations to management on the purchase of hardware and software solutions to continuously improve IT operations and end user experience.

Receive and track computing related shipments. Process packing slips and other documents as required by UW and Department of Medicine Policy
Develop comprehensive documentation for inventory system infrastructure and processes.
Consult with IT Security Administrator on SCCM security patches, system state security, Operating System upgrades.
Generate computing equipment refresh reports and provide recommendations to clients based on equipment age and annual refresh.
Use endpoint management tools to monitor operating systems for errors, diagnose operating system issues, including device drivers, network configurations, and communication software.
Install, maintain, and update Windows and MacOS operating systems using manual methods and endpoint automation
Upgrade operating systems to most current supported versions using manual methods and endpoint automation
Direct User Support and Training / Policies and Procedures Management (35%)
The Endpoint and Inventory Administrator is responsible for directing and supporting the faculty and staff in their use of the computer system at UWMC, HMC, VA, SLU and other facilities supported by the Department of Medicine IT Services and remote environments. The IS Help Desk task responsibilities include:
Regular collaboration with the IT Support Manager on various end-user and IT support subjects.
Consult with staff and faculty to analyze their computational needs and provide recommendations for the purchase of hardware and software.
Network/Desktop applications installation, configuration, and management.
Oversight, mentoring, training and task assignments of the student support staff.

The IT Endpoint and Inventory Administrator is a primary resource for supporting a complex organization of educational, research and clinical programs throughout the entire Department/School. The IT Endpoint and Inventory Administrator implements and continually improves the services of the divisions that have become an integral part of the School's success. The IT Endpoint and Inventory Administrator will be responsible for providing best practice support for end users, while helping to assure that the services provided are compliant with all UW Medicine Policies. The network establishes connectivity throughout a widely dispersed group of departments, and forms a solid foundation for an environment where information and data can be centralized and shared between faculty and staff in a timely and efficient manner.

The IT Endpoint and Inventory Administrator will work with DOM and other SOM department management to provide support and services for more than 4000 workforce members, supporting computing resources, handle client computing issues when they arise, help guide the professional activities of the Help Desk students, advise users in best practices for data stewardship, and serve as an escalation point and subject matter expert for SharePoint within the DOM IT helpdesk team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Endpoint Management (45%)
The IT Endpoint and Inventory Administrator is independently responsible for the complex management and tracking of the Department of Medicine's computing devices. These responsibilities include:
* Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of a robust IT inventory system to track equipment lifecycle and reporting.
* Utilize various systems to create robust reports on the current state of end-device systems. Specific applications include SCCM, JAMF, SharePoint Services, SQL Server, Active Directory, etc.
