While our focus is primarily technical, we also emphasize the personal, organizational, policy, and legal aspects of cybersecurity. Successful applicants will receive teaching assignments based on course availability and the candidate's expertise.
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
A master's degree in an Information Science, Informatics, technology, or related discipline from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department or an internationally recognized accrediting organization is required;
OR
A Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to cybersecurity from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department or an internationally recognized accrediting organization degree in an applicable field (or closely related disciplines) AND significant experience (e.g., industry, military, government).

Preferred qualifications:

The Department of Psychology within the College of Arts and Sciences at the University at Albany invites applications for a full-time non-tenure-track Lecturer (10 Months) to teach within our online undergraduate Psychology degree program. The position will begin before January 21, 2026 (the first day of spring semester classes) for a one-year term appointment with the potential for renewal.
The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching three online courses per semester (six courses per academic year), developing and delivering online course materials, contributing to the program's curriculum, mentoring and advising students, and enhancing student engagement in a virtual environment. Additionally, the candidate will participate in service at the departmental, college, and university levels. This position may include instruction in both introductory and advanced courses. The ability to teach courses in statistics and research methods is especially desirable.
Candidates must have a graduate degree in Psychology, extensive experience in online teaching, and a demonstrated appreciation for research. The ideal candidate will have experience with innovative online instructional strategies and certification in online instruction.
The Department of Psychology offers Bachelor's, Master's, PhD degrees with concentrations in Behavioral Neuroscience, Cognitive Psychology, Social Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and Industrial/Organizational Psychology. The University of Rochester Department of Family Medicine is now accepting applications for its one-year, instructor position in the Advanced Obstetrics Track of the Maternal Child Health Fellowship. Our program provides one of the more robust OB experiences in the Northeast for our 12-12-12 residency program. Highland Hospital delivers approximately 3000 babies per year and has historically had an impressively low 20% Cesarean rate. Our longstanding Surgical Obstetrics fellowship is expanding from 2 to 4 fellows per year with a new emphasis on training physicians for rural practice funded by our recent HRSA grant.
This one-year faculty appointment is designed to train Family Medicine physicians high-risk obstetrics, surgical assisting, and management of common newborn conditions. You will be trained in rural health care, prenatal care, obstetric ultrasound, newborn resuscitation and stabilization, care of newborns in the Special Care Nursery, and care of high-risk obstetrical conditions.

The Department of Counseling and Mental Health Professions, in the School of Health Sciences at Hofstra University, is seeking a full-time faculty member at the rank of Professor, Associate Professor, or AssistantProfessor, for a tenure-track position in the graduate Marriage and Family Therapy program beginning Fall 2026. An additional stipend will be provided for serving as Program Director.
The ideal candidate is engaged in scholarly endeavors with demonstrated both research and teaching excellence. An intrinsic excitement for teaching and interaction with students is highly valued. The successful candidate will have a rich background in family systems, including both research and clinical practice within a range of populations and cultural contexts.
The Program:
The Marriage and Family Therapy program, an in-person 54 credit degree program, prepares students for licensure in New York State. The program features dynamic, practice-based courses led by dedicated faculty who prepare students with the skills necessary to work with couples and families to resolve relationship conflicts. Students receive intensive academic and clinical training through theory and applied classes and an integrated internship that's completed at the on-campus Counseling and Mental Health Professions Clinic.
The Department:
The Department of Counseling and Mental Health Professions offers six graduate-level programs in School Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Creative Arts Therapy Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Rehabilitation Counseling and Rehabilitation Counseling in Mental Health, as well as advanced certificates in Addiction and Substance Abuse and various counseling specialties, and an undergraduate minor in Human Services.
The School:
The School of Health Sciences is home to four academic departments, including Allied Health and Kinesiology; Counseling and Mental Health Professions; Population Health, and Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences. The mission of the school to educate students in the theory and practices of their specialized area of study, with a strong foundation in the natural, social, and behavioral sciences. Through competency-based instruction, field experience, and research training, students are educated to become effective and compassionate clinicians, evidence-based practitioners, policymakers, managers, and advocates who promote health equity.
Qualifications
* Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, preferably from a COAMFTE accredited institution.
* Licensed to practice Marriage and Family Therapy with the intention of obtaining a NYS license.
* Clinical Membership in the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT).
* Approved supervisor status, preferred.
* Evidence of teaching experience (co-teaching and doctoral teaching internships are acceptable).
* Evidence of experience as a counseling practitioner in mental health settings (doctoral internships are acceptable).
* Notable achievement of publications and professional presentations and a readiness to develop research and training grant proposals.
* Proficiency in the use of technology in the delivery of education and an eagerness to use multiple technologies to teach and communicate with students.
* A broad knowledge base of the MFT field and experience with integrating family systems theory with clinical practice.
