In 1899, University of Missouri president R. H. Jesse convened a committee of seven faculty to create a student bookstore.
By 1940, the store could no longer keep pace with the needs of the expanding campus.
Established in 1983, TigerTech is a full service technology reseller, offering educational pricing to University of Missouri students, faculty, and staff.
Computer packages can also be purchased during Missouri’s sales tax holiday, which is August 5-7, 2011.
In 2013 the University Bookstore changed its name to The Mizzou Store.
