What's the diversity at University like?

I believe the representation of diverse demographics within my organization is something that could improve. While there may be efforts to recruit from different backgrounds, it sometimes feels like there’s a lack of true inclusivity, especially when it comes to leadership roles or decision-making positions. In some cases, certain groups are underrepresented, which can create a sense of imbalance or lack of diverse perspectives. I think there’s potential for growth in fostering a more inclusive environment where people from various demographics feel genuinely supported and able to advance

What brings you the most joy at University?

What brings me the most joy at work is the opportunity to positively impact others, whether it’s through teaching, mentoring, or helping people solve real-world problems. I find fulfillment in seeing students or colleagues grasp difficult concepts and apply them in meaningful ways. Collaborating with diverse teams and exchanging ideas also excites me, as it opens doors to creative problem-solving. Additionally, contributing to projects that make a difference, especially in the field of science or education, brings a deep sense of satisfaction and purpose.
