At least in my department, management training was non-existent. My immediate manager had never been in a management role before and turned out to be a cruel micromanager. I had to file a complaint.
I was proud to work for UH because of their commitment to providing outstanding professional care above anything else. The work was fulfilling. The caregivers I worked with were patient and kind.
Access to many locations offering compassionate healthcare.
He is committing to providing healthcare to the people regardless of their ability to pay. And he is acutely aware of health inequities in minority and rural communities.
Clearing out toxic leadership at the department level.

I love the work I do. I can work independently while still working as a team
Nothing
Great experienced team providing care for the ill medical patients
No flexibility with child care needs. Slow career progression
Enhancements, slow career progression
Outstanding clinical staff to team with on Quality projects or research.
I would like bigger data problems to work on.
Flexible schedule
Steady work, team work during night shift
Terrible insurance policy, petty narrow minded nursing/management politics, the refusal to hire nurse from a certain number of nursing schools
