Determines proper and satisfactory ultrasound technique - appropriate probes 98% of the time, as reviewed in random critiques of images by radiologist or QC Technologist. Verified informed consent where required 100% of the time, as indicated by retrospective reviews of consent form presence in the chart for specific special procedures - biopsy exams. Contributes to the achievement of excellence in the department through the adherence to productivity, quality assurance ,customer service, and code of conduct standards established by the department or organization. The technologist will ensure 100% of the time that all procedures performed by him/her are “completed” in the RIS system and “verified” in PACS after the study is complete and finalized. No more than 3 un - “completed” studies will be allowed in any 12-month period, as verified by review of RIS management reports. With conditions permitting as defined by the lead tech, each technologist is expected to perform and complete and average of 10 routine exams over the course of an eight-hour shift 100% of the time, as verified by RIS management reports.
