As an RN Team Lead in the Pediatrics Department at Solon Family Health Center, you will coordinate and oversee daily operations, workflows, delivery of care and caregiver education as needed. Some of your responsibilities will include direct patient support, while others are more clerical and administrative in nature. * Coordinate and resolve daily operational issues.
* Perform duties of an RN Ambulatory.

* Assist in preparing department specific education.
* Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement and research activities to improve patient outcomes, experience and safety.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
* Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
* Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
* Two years of recent RN experience
* Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
* Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
* Previous Charge Nurse or supervisory experience in a pediatrics setting
Physical Requirements:
* Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
* Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
* May requires some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
* Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects.

* Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings in patient records and notify physicians of abnormal findings.

* Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families and the health care team.
* Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs and facilitate discharge planning.
