Assignment Details Coverage Dates: August 10, 2026 November 16, 2026 Reason for Coverage: Maternity leave Practice Setting: Hospital-based operating rooms Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM Call: None Clinical Responsibilities Provide anesthesia care for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients Manage a mix of solo anesthesia cases and supervision of CRNAs in a care team model Perform anesthesia for: General surgical cases (neonatal, pediatric, adult) Thoracic cases (excluding open heart) Complex orthopedic cases Neurosurgical cases Ventilation management Provide pediatric anesthesia services across all subspecialties except cardiac surgery and transplant surgery Arterial line placement and management of acute volume/BP issues preferred Facility Overview Trauma Designation: ACS Level I Trauma Center Operating Rooms: 14 Anesthesia Team: 22 anesthesiologists Average Surgical Volume: cases per day Annual ED Volume: 70,000 visits OR Staff: Multidisciplinary, collegial team of RNs, techs, PCAs, surgeons, APPs, and proceduralists Candidate Requirements Board Certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Experience with required pediatric, neonatal, and complex surgical cases Active Ohio license preferred NPDB self-query required (pulled within the same month as presentation) Credentialing & Onboarding Notes Fingerprinting required immediately after acceptance Prompt submission of credentialing information required to avoid delays
