Summary of Job Duties:The AssistantProfessor of Adult and Lifelong Learning is a 9-month, tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Counseling, Leadership, and Research Methods in the College of Education and Health Professions at the University of Arkansas. The duties and responsibilities of this position include: teaching graduate courses in adult and lifelong learning; conducting research that results in refereed publications and professional presentations; pursuing external funding; chairing/serving on doctoral advisory and dissertation committees; and engaging in service activities in the program, department, college, university, and professional/scholarly organizations. Consistent on-campus presence and active engagement in departmental life are essential functions of this position. Extensive in-person engagement in activities such as office hours, collaborative work, and departmental, college, and university committee meetings is expected to advance departmental effectiveness and support the college and university's mission.

Summary of Job Duties:The faculty level position is a 12-month position within Pharmaceutical Sciences on the UAMS main campus in Little Rock. Non-modified faculty member appointments participate in the three mission areas of teaching, service, and research and are expected to be good academic citizens.
The faculty member will develop an independent research program in an area of biomedical or pharmaceutical sciences that is in line with or complements current research laboratories in the department and UAMS. While the primary focus of this position is research and scholarship, commitment to education activities and service to the College, University, and profession are also expected.
The successful candidate will provide functions in teaching, research/scholarly activities, professional development, academic citizenship, and administrative academic service. Candidates with research programs in the area of cancer, therapeutics, neuroscience, cardiovascular, radiation biology, and pharmacology are encouraged to apply. Summary of Job Duties:The Assistant/Associate Professor or Professor faculty position is a 12-month, tenure-track or non-tenure track, full-time faculty position in the Department of Pharmacy Practice on the UAMS main campus in Little Rock. Faculty positions are available within the general department, division (Pharmaceutical Evaluation and Policy (PEP); Northwest Campus), or center (Center for Implementation Research) organizational structures.
Qualifications:
PhD in an area relevant to the mission of the department or PharmD plus completion of 1 year of residency training required.
For those with clinical responsibilities: At least 3 years of clinical practice experience in a relevant practice setting if have not completed at least one year of residency.
Those holding a PharmD degree: Must hold an active Arkansas pharmacist license or be eligible for Arkansas pharmacist licensure.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
For those with clinical responsibilities: Completion of a PGY2 residency in a relevant area.

Summary of Job Duties:The Medical Physicist for Proton Therapy provides comprehensive medical physics, dosimetry, engineering, and informatics support within the Department of Radiation Oncology for the Proton Center of Arkansas. This position supports the priorities of the department and the Cancer Service Line while advancing the mission of the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute. The physicist is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and effective delivery of proton radiation therapy through active participation in clinical operations, quality assurance, and program development. The physicist provides daily clinical physics coverage for proton treatments and works closely with physicians, dosimetrists, and therapists in all aspects of treatment planning, dose calculation, and image guidance. In addition, the role encompasses the commissioning, calibration, quality control (QC), and quality assurance (QA) measurements, patient dosimetry, and new procedure development. The physicist provides consultation services to the physician staff on medical physics issues. The Medical Physicist ensures and maintains compliance with applicable state and federal radiation regulations and participates in the continuous quality improvement initiatives. This position supports the Department of Radiation Oncology, Cancer Service Line, and Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute.
Qualifications:
Ph.D required.
Graduation from a CAMPEP-accredited residency program.
Experience with proton therapy is preferred, though not required.
Experience with proton therapy and the RayStation treatment planning system is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Meet the priorities of the department and the Cancer Service Line.
Help develop and implement departmental standards for physics, dosimetry, engineering, and informatics in accordance with accrediting regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary of Job Duties:The successful candidate will lead a comprehensive statewide extension program of excellence in wildlife management. Emphasis areas will include upland game bird management and nuisance/invasive wildlife issues in addition to wildlife management issues that address stakeholder needs and complement efforts of fellow natural resources extension and research team members.
Candidates should desire developing educational programs for landowners, hunters, residential homeowners, natural resources professionals, county Extension agents, and 4-H youth. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders effectively through an array of methods such as site visits, field tours, workshops, extension publications and online content.
The incumbent will be expected to have a statewide program. Integration of county agents into extension efforts and activities, timely response to agent questions, development of effective training programs for agents, and demonstration projects to support extension efforts are essential to success. Close collaboration with extension and research colleagues, both within AFRC and across relevant disciplines and organizations, will also be essential to success. The successful candidate will be expected to publish in peer-reviewed outlets, extension publications, web-based media, and popular press. The successful candidate will also generate program support through extramural funding through various competitive sources such as state and federal grants and foundation and/or industry grants and contracts.
The incumbent will join an innovative and effective team of researchers and extension specialists with strong connections to Arkansas natural resources and stakeholders. Many opportunities exist in the University of Arkansas System to work collaboratively with stakeholders as well as with multidisciplinary teams of scientists, including colleagues housed at AFRC, other UA System research and extension locations, and the UA main campus in Fayetteville. Opportunities for regional and national cooperation and collaborations are also available and encouraged. Minimum Qualifications

This Instructor or AssistantProfessor position will begin August 2026. The successful candidate is expected to: Teach undergraduate level geoscience courses in Geology, GIS, and their field of expertise; be a mentor to Geoscience students and maintain a healthy field and laboratory research agenda that involves the Geoscience undergraduate students; teach introductory lectures and labs like Physical Geology, Earth Science, Physical Geography and World Regional Geography.
The Department of Physical Science is an interdisciplinary department that offers undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and Geoscience. The Geoscience program is a young program that is gaining national recognition through its culture of student involvement and undergraduate research. UAFS Geoscience students are broadly trained in geosciences and are prepared for a variety of graduate programs and professional careers in geology, GIS, and environmental science. The department has two full-time faculty and seeks a third member who can collaborate, transform, and stimulate the next generation of learners as well as continue to grow the program. The program currently averages 50 majors and maintains a healthy field and laboratory research agenda.
Primary responsibilities will be teaching a variety of undergraduate geology, geography, and geoscience courses with associated labs. Other duties will include curriculum development for the Geoscience Degree Program, professional development, service to the department, college, and university, including committee work, student recruitment and advising, and other related duties as required. Experience with Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is preferred. The position reports to the Department Head of Physical Sciences.

Summary of Job Duties:The University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law seeks an AssistantProfessor of Clinical Education to direct its Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC). The LITC provides free legal services to low-income Arkansans seeking to settle or adjudicate tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) or the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (ADFA) and trains law students to represent clients in these matters. The Director of the Bowen LITC is responsible for all aspects of the Tax Clinic, including client representation, law student supervision, classroom instruction, community outreach and education, and IRS compliance.
This is a 12-month, full-time position funded by a grant from the IRS Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic Program. This position is not eligible for tenure, but upon completion of certain requirements, the Clinic Director will be eligible for promotion to Associate Professor of Clinical Education, with a three-year term, and subsequent promotion to Professor of Clinical Education, with a five-year term that is presumptively renewable depending on Clinic funding. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy. Applicants for the position should be available to start work by no later than June 1, 2026.
Qualifications:
Required Education and/or Experience:
A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school is required;
Must be either a member of the Arkansas bar in good standing or capable of admission to the Arkansas Bar within one year of hiring.
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
Three years of post-bar practice experience in tax law is preferred;
Prior experience in law school clinical teaching is preferred.

Summary of Job Duties:The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Arkansas invites applications for a tenure-track AssistantProfessor of Chemistry to start in August 2026. This is a standard nine-month faculty appointment.
The successful candidate will establish an independent, externally funded research program and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of expertise. Candidates in all areas of chemistry are encouraged to apply. Due to projected teaching needs, those working in areas of biochemistry or organic chemistry are particularly encouraged.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in Chemistry, or a closely related field, from an accredited institution of higher education conferred by the date of initial appointment
Evidence of, or a demonstrated potential for, exceptional teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate and graduate level
Evidence of, or a demonstrated potential for, external funded research and scholarly/creative activity
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary, and/or cross-campus collaborations
Evidence of significant experience in a modern area of Chemistry
Strong record of successful publication in the thematic and/or methodological areas of position focus
Demonstrated ability to develop effective undergraduate and graduate classes that complement the current course catalog
Demonstrated ability in mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in independent research
Strong evidence of the ability to be an active, involved, and collegial member of a collaborative faculty team both on campus and in relevant national service organizations
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
Current knowledge in the area of chemistry that complements current strength of the department
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop external funded research

Summary of Job Duties:The Chemistry Program of the School of Physical Sciences is accepting applications for academically and professionally qualified Adjunct Lecturers to teach introductory chemistry lectures and laboratories and/or inorganic chemistry laboratory. The Adjunct Lecturers will be assigned to teach one or more sections based on the schedule and availability. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Qualifications:
Required Education and/or Experience:
Graduate degree (MS or MA) in Chemistry;
Candidates with at least eighteen graduate hours of Chemistry or chemistry-related courses, combined with previous lab experience, may also apply.
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
Teaching experience at the College or University level;
Evidence of teaching excellence;
Experience in teaching Chemistry laboratories.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate introductory Chemistry classes including laboratories; Instruction may be delivered on-campus during day and/or evening;
Manage the class syllabus and ensure that the syllabus meets program, school, and college standards;
Prepare lesson plans, essential learning goals, and assignments;
Encourage active learning through discussion topics, group work, projects, etc.;
Provide feedback and grade assignments in a timely and thorough manner;
Establish office hours to provide additional assistance with student questions;
Performs other duties relevant to the position as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Committed to student success as demonstrated in your prior teaching experience and/or mentoring and supervisory experience;
Knowledge and use of evidence-based teaching practices, including active learning;
Expertise in Chemistry topics;
