Department:COM | PSY Health & Legal Sys Lab Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties:The Senior Clinical Therapist is housed in the Health and Legal System Lab, in the Department of Psychiatry, and works under the supervision of the Laboratory Director and Clinical Therapist Supervisor. This position will provide assessments, individual/group therapy, and crisis intervention to research participants. Treatment will be provided in-person and virtually, both at the UAMS campus and within jails and prisons. The Clinical Therapist must have an understanding of mental health diagnosis and treatment, specifically related to post-traumatic stress disorder and Substance use disorders. The Clinical Therapist will be responsible for ongoing communications with their supervisors and other members of the lab. Qualifications: Master's degree in social work or counseling plus one (1) year of experience as an LMSW, LAC, LCSW, LPC providing direct clinical care requried. LCSW or LPC required. Responsibilities: Works with participants to complete individual or group therapy. Completes brief intervention protocol. Completes assessments and appropriate documentation. Department:ICE | MUSL Physical Therapy Inpatient Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties:"This position is M-F" The Physical Therapist performs examinations, evaluations, and establishes plans of care including goals and recommendations for discharge. The PT provides daily treatment to promote functional independence and modifies treatment programs. Performs documentation in EHR. Coordinates/communicates with interdisciplinary team. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy or eligible for licensure. Creates individualized care plans based on assessment findings, setting realistic goals to improve mobility, strength, and overall function. Utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation, to address patient needs. Assesses patient responses to treatment, modifying interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and patient safety. Provides instruction on home exercises, body mechanics, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term health and prevent re-injury. Completes detailed and timely records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in compliance with UAMS policies and regulatory standards. Works closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment for patients. Engages in continuing education opportunities, attend workshops, and pursue certifications to stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and enhance clinical expertise. May perform other duties as assigned.
