Provide service on departmental, college, and university committees as well as service to the community and to the discipline;

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Part-time Faculty for University of Arkansas Grantham (UAG) have primary responsibility for online instruction and corresponding outreach to an approximate maximum load of 70 students at a given time. Part-time faculty serve in a remote capacity at the University. This position is for the designated college and will report to the Faculty Manager. Part-time faculty teach courses that may begin monthly or quarterly depending on the course and program. Courses are eight weeks in length and utilize the Blackboard Learning Management System. Each course week runs Wednesday through Tuesday midnight of the following week. Faculty are given access one week prior to the course start date to set up the course.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Follow all University policies as provided in the University Catalog and Faculty Handbook.
● Provide instruction in accordance with the University and within the scope of departmentally-defined courses, programs of study, and degrees.
● Responsibility includes timely interaction with students and quality assessment of student work with substantive feedback.
● Provide weekly “office hours” support and communicate (e.g., email, posting, live-chat, etc.) in a timely manner with students, other faculty and staff regarding student concerns or issues.

Compensation:
• Interns will work up to 40 hours per week for a maximum of nine weeks in the summer at an hourly rate of $12.50.
• Hourly paid employees who are considered temporary or part-time are not benefit eligible and are on a REARS payment schedule. For example - Interns starting on May 18, 2026, will be paid hourly and will receive their first paycheck on the payroll payment date of June 13, 2026.
• Travel will be reimbursed at the current rate of .52 per mile.

Holiday Pay
• Temporary employees may be eligible for prorated holiday pay if they average at least 20 hours per week over the four weeks prior to the holiday. Eligibility also requires the employee to be in "pay status" for at least 15 minutes on their last scheduled workday before and first scheduled workday after the holiday.
• The calculation for holiday pay is based on the average number of hours worked in the four weeks immediately preceding the holiday. To calculate the paid holiday hours, the average weekly hours are divided by five. This number is then rounded to the nearest quarter hour. For example, if an employee averages 20.75 hours per week over the four-week period, they would be paid for 4.25 hours for the holiday (20.75 / 5 = 4.15, rounded to 4.25).
Qualifications:
Junior or senior-level undergraduate students who are citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. currently enrolled in any U.S. institution are eligible to apply. Priority will be given to students from traditionally underserved minorities, first-generation college students, students from institutions with limited research opportunities, and students who have a minimum of 45 credit hours at the time of application.

Science Tutors work on campus at the Learning Center under the supervision of the Coordinator of Tutoring Services. Tutors assist UACCM students in becoming more successful and independent learners. Tutors provide and help to integrate effective learning and study strategies for students, while at the same time helping to clarify and/or reinforce course content, assignments, and material. Science tutoring will be provided in the areas of, but not limited to, Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II and Biology. This part-time position works during the fall and/or spring semesters when classes are in session and according to student need.

Provide content and skill-development tutoring to individuals and small groups
Maintain records regarding student use of tutoring services
Develop tutoring materials and strategies to support student success
Proactively promote tutoring services

Make appropriate student referrals to college offices, departments, or professionals when necessary
Complete any required trainings and development assignments

Summary of Job Duties:The Sam M. Walton College of Business has openings for part-time temporary adjunct lecturers to teach undergraduate courses. Applying for a part-time adjunct lecturer position allows department chairs from across the College to access candidate materials when a teaching need arises throughout the current or future academic year.
The Department of Marketing graduates the largest number of undergraduate students in the Walton College. We offer a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master of Science in Marketing focused on brand management, and a Ph.D. in Marketing.

Summary of Job Duties:This posting will be used to fill multiple positions.
Full time/part time positions available - all shifts.
The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to assigned patients in the Stem Cell Transplant Unit (F7). This is a 30 private bed unit which specializes in the care of Multiple Myeloma patients. Team members include physicians, registered nurses, APRN's, clinical pharmacists, dietitians, social workers, chaplains, physical and occupational therapists, and psychologists. This team provides continuity of care for all patients receiving stem cell transplants, both autologous and allogeneic. Nurses are an integral part of the multidisciplinary team providing care to these patients, administering chemotherapy and supportive care treatments throughout the inpatient stay.

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing.
Valid RN License.

Responsibilities:
Registered Nurse delivers nursing care for patients in within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and adheres to institutional policies, procedures and standards.
The RN is responsible to adhere to the standard of care defined by UAMS, ANA, and Standards for specialty patient population with support and mentoring by other team members.
Collects and documents assessment data. Develops a Plan of Care (POC) per standard. Implements POC including medical order and interdisciplinary approach.
Evaluates the progress of patient toward attainment of desired outcomes.
Provides effective patient/family education/discharge planning.
Administers medication per standard including drug information to patients/families.
Acts as a resource/supports others.
Delivers patient care using the principles of the defined nursing modality.
Delegates care based on UAMS standards, legal and regulatory requirements, specific job description and individual level of education and training.
Contributes to a positive work environment that is conducive to clinical education while serving as a resource for student nurses and staff.
