Under supervision of the Administrative Nurse Manager and MA Supervisor, guided by policies and procedures of the Ambulatory Services, and in collaboration with the Clinical Nursing Staff, the Hospital Assistant III assists in the delivery of care to patients in multiple Cancer Center ambulatory group practices. This position supports the various cost centers within the Cancer Center, multiple campuses, and satellite offices. Work includes a variety of personal care and nursing procedures including assuring positive care outcomes. They will perform assigned patient care and laboratory procedures in support of the specialty care services provided to patients within the practices. They are required to learn and be able to assist in all Cancer Center specialty practices. S/he is required to adhere to the Telephone and House Standards as adopted by the Medical Center.

The CRCA will coordinate moderately complex aspects of one or more clinical studies. The CRCA will work under close direction of the Division Chief.

+ Serve as primary contact with research participants, sponsors, and regulatory agencies. Coordinate studies from startup through close-out.

The Hospital Assistant III, under the supervision of the Practice Manager, guided by the policies and procedures of the Center for Reproductive Health and Ambulatory Services, and in collaboration with the physician staff, has the clinical responsibility for developing and maintaining a high standard of patient care. S/he will perform clinical duties and coordination specific to unassisted and assisted reproductive techniques as well as Andrology and gynecological treatment. Primary responsibility is to perform assigned patient care and laboratory procedures in support of the primary and specialty care services provided to patients within the practice. The HAIII is responsible for maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff, and for daily operations. All components of care will be individualized to meet the patient's physiological and psychosocial development level and needs. Your Role on the Team Position Summary: The Senior Medical Record Assistant files and maintains medical documents and correspondence as received in the appropriate patient medical record.
