The Opportunity The Department of Finance and Dr. Phillips School of Real Estate in the College of Business Administration at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for a 9-month, tenured or tenure-earning assistant professor or associate professor. Management of structural engineers and tower maintenance companies in coordination with UCF Facilities and UCF Planning Design and Construction departments is also a key responsibility. Manage the maintenance and repair of technical equipment and physical plant including studios, tower sites, transmitter buildings and office building, audio/visual equipment including, but not solely inclusive to internet streaming devices, digital IP audio/video record and play-out systems, non-linear editors, production switchers, routing switchers, encoders, decoders, automation and server/file storage systems. Prepare annual recommended engineering/operation capital and operating/maintenance budget. Manage quotes and bid solicitations and act as the primary liaison on engineering/operations capital and operating/maintenance projects with outside vendors and university departments. Act as the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) legally designated “Chief Operator” for both WUCF TV and WUCF FM. The Opportunity The Department of Computer Science at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applicants for multiple 9-month, full-time, non-tenure earning instructor or lecturer positions with an anticipated start date of August 2026. The selected candidates will teach Computer Science and Information Technology courses. This will be a full-time academic load, which consists of 7 courses per academic year. The Opportunity The Department of Computer Science at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applicants for multiple 9-month, full-time, non-tenure earning instructor or lecturer positions with an anticipated start date of August 2026. The selected candidates will teach Computer Science and Information Technology courses. This will be a full-time academic load, which consists of 7 courses per academic year. The courses may include various topics in our undergraduate Computer Science and Information Technology programs. We are especially interested in applicants capable of teaching in some of the following areas: cybersecurity, networking, operating systems, secure distributed and cloud computing, digital forensics, computer organization and architecture, computer science theory, algorithms, and programming at all levels. Other responsibilities include holding office hours, conducting required academic performance assessments, and development of instructional content for course enhancement. A supplemental summer appointment may be offered. Minimum Qualifications: An earned master's degree (for instructor) or doctorate (for lecturer) in Computer Science or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution by the start of the appointment.
