The Department of Finance, which includes the Dr. P. Phillips School of Real Estate, has 20 full-time faculty members, including 16 tenured and tenure-track faculty. In addition to the Finance Ph.D. program, the department offers a Professional Master of Real Estate (P.M.R.E.) degree and undergraduate degrees in finance and real estate. The department's Masters in FinTech degree program was launched in Fall 2022.
With some 8,500 undergraduate and 1,000 graduate students enrolled, the UCF College of Business Administration is one of the largest AACSB-accredited business colleges in the nation. The department contains six degree conferring programs: a bachelor's in psychology, two terminal masters (I/O psychology and clinical psychology), and three doctoral programs (I/O psychology, human factors and cognitive psychology, and clinical psychology). The department consists of 50 full-time faculty, about 4,500 undergraduate majors, and approximately 170 graduate students. It is a collegial department with broad representation that values collaborations and mentorship across subdisciplines. Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day-to-day management of the broadcast engineering unit and operations unit team, while also being an active hands-on/boots on the ground part of the team.
Maintain and repair the radio and TV high power broadcast transmitters. Trouble shoot and solve equipment and air chain issues quickly and efficiently. Recognize and work safely, including subordinate safety training and compliance around high voltages and other dangers including the one-million-watt ERP TV transmitter.
Manages the design and implementation of engineering designs of electronic systems/equipment utilizing CAD/Visio software. Able to lift 50 pounds and work on step ladders to repair and install equipment and maintain physical plant.
Serve as the primary 24/7/365 broadcast engineering emergency contact during unattended nights, weekends and university holidays. Responsible for maintaining a 24/7/365 local area presence to respond to broadcast engineering emergencies or delegating appropriate staff for local on-call coverage.
Manages the WUCF owned FM broadcast tower site. This includes managing tower cellphone lease clients and associated business processes required by these clients including working with the UCF General Counsel office on legal contracts required for antenna modifications. Management of structural engineers and tower maintenance companies in coordination with UCF Facilities and UCF Planning Design and Construction departments is also a key responsibility.
Manage the maintenance and repair of technical equipment and physical plant including studios, tower sites, transmitter buildings and office building, audio/visual equipment including, but not solely inclusive to internet streaming devices, digital IP audio/video record and play-out systems, non-linear editors, production switchers, routing switchers, encoders, decoders, automation and server/file storage systems.
Prepare annual recommended engineering/operation capital and operating/maintenance budget. Manage quotes and bid solicitations and act as the primary liaison on engineering/operations capital and operating/maintenance projects with outside vendors and university departments.
Act as the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) legally designated “Chief Operator” for both WUCF TV and WUCF FM. Management of technical compliance with all regulatory and governmental agencies, including the FCC and Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) for tower regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Answer telephone calls, and greet patients. Direct individuals to the appropriate building location. Schedule appointments and/or follow-ups only within in the assigned specialty Pod. Check-in and check-out patients for medical visits. Assists with referrals, be a liaison between the participating plan provider and the patient.

Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, M&S, Engineering, or a related discipline in modeling and simulation is required at time of application.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong programming skills in one or more of the following: C++, Python, C#, with experience in modern software engineering practices (version control, CI/CD, modular design).
Experience with distributed systems, GPU computing, or cloud-based simulation environments.
Knowledge of human-in-the-loop simulation, training effectiveness evaluation, or synthetic environments.
Experience in government or defense research environments.
Record of successful proposal writing and sponsored research funding.

* Foster long-term, collaborative relationships with ambassadors, helping them connect with university departments and faculty for shared objectives.
Partnership Development:
