The Opportunity
The Department of Finance and Dr. Phillips School of Real Estate in the College of Business Administration at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for a 9-month, tenured or tenure-earning assistant professor or associate professor. The position is located on the main UCF Orlando campus with an anticipated start date in Fall 2025. The normal teaching load for a tenured or tenure-earning faculty is two courses per semester during the academic year.
The Department of Finance, which includes the Dr. P. Phillips School of Real Estate, has 20 full-time faculty members, including 16 tenured and tenure-track faculty. In addition to the Finance Ph.D. program, the department offers a Professional Master of Real Estate (P.M.R.E.) degree and undergraduate degrees in finance and real estate. The department's Masters in FinTech degree program was launched in Fall 2022.
With some 8,500 undergraduate and 1,000 graduate students enrolled, the UCF College of Business Administration is one of the largest AACSB-accredited business colleges in the nation. The college offers part-time, executive, and professional MBA programs as well as master's degrees in accounting, management, real estate, taxation, and sports business management. Minimum Qualifications for Assistant Professor:

Responsibilities:
Provide athletic training services for the Recreation and Wellness Center's sports programs. This may include Intramural Sports, Sport Clubs, and general open recreation as directed by the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation and the Athletic Training & Risk Management Coordinator, including attendance at scheduled competitions as deemed necessary.
Assist with the coordination and scheduling of student-athletes for medical referrals and determine a student-athlete's ability to practice and/or compete in consultation with the Team Physician(s) and Athletic Training & Risk Management Coordinator.
Consult with the Team Physician(s) and other athletic trainers for guidance on the treatment of injured student-athletes, and report on their progress.
Report the status of injured student-athletes to proper RWC supervisors and periodically meet to identify and discuss problem areas with proper members of the Risk Management Team.
Assist with the compilation, input, organization, and maintenance of all medical records on student-athletes Assist with the enforcement of codes of conduct and rules of use for the Athletic Training Clinic, the RWC's facilities and equipment relating athletic training functions.
Share in the responsibility of athletic training clinic maintenance and upkeep.
Work in conjunction with RWC staff regarding the safety and usage of athletic equipment.
Maintain a good working relationship with the RWC staff regarding the safety of practice and competition surfaces and general field/court conditions.
Maintain certification and license requirements of the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC) and the State of Florida.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree and 1+ years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, and have CPR and AED certifications, and have a State of Florida Athletic Training License.

Demonstrated customer service experience in a health, fitness, or recreational setting.

* Communicates daily tasks to temporary, student workers and offers guidance to support safe and efficient work completion.
* Maintains and services groundskeeping tools and equipment.
* Ensures proper waste and recycling collection in alignment with university standards.
* Schedules and applies fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides; oversees turf health, plant installation and tree/shrub pruning.
* Recommends policies and procedures to improve the efficiency of operations for Athletics Grounds Maintenance.
* Ensures all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with University, ASUN Conference, and NCAA rules.
