Summary of Job Responsibilities: The staff physician in the clinical track is responsible for providing direct outpatient care to Gastroenterology patients Uhealth Doral or Sole Mia 9 half days per week. He/she will provide outpatient clinical and endoscopic services to those patients who require Gastroenterology services, and Gastroenterology screening procedures. In addition, the physician will rotate on inpatient services at Uhealth Towers, and Jackson Memorial Hospital periodically, and will be on call weekdays, holidays, and weekends proportionate to other physicians in the Division. Qualifications: MD Degree and ACGME US internal medicine internship and residency Valid American Board Certification in Internal Medicine (or board eligible) Board Certification in Gastroenterology/Hepatology(or board eligible) Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply (must have license prior to credentialing) Valid DEA licensure Current BLS certification . ACLS US citizen or valid visa to work in the United States Must be able to provide prerequisite case logs for procedures for prior two years for credentialling Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures and techniques. Must maintain CME to meet institutional and state licensing requirements Must have excellent clinical knowledge and experience to provide safe and quality care to patients and meet institutional standards of care Close encounters within 72 hours. UHealth Premier Concierge Medicine is seeking a qualified internal medicine candidate who will have current American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) certification and at least 5 years of ambulatory care practice experience in an Executive Health, Concierge Medicine and/or General Internal Medicine setting. The Concierge physician is available to their patients 24/7, 365, via telephone and digital media (i.e. e-mail or messaging via EMR) except when out of office on leave such as for vacation, medical reasons, or conferences. Weekend call may be shared with other physicians in the UHealth Premier Concierge Medicine practice. Practice location includes Desai Sethi Medical Center, and Lennar Medical Center.
