Manages daily operations, supervises all aspects of the educational programs, including didactic conferences, evaluations, duty hours, and appropriate policies and procedure relevant to the ACGME and University requirements. Oversees the coordination and documentation of all meetings concerning the Residency Program. Responsible for maintenance of Master Rotation Schedule and Admin. Oversees monthly reporting of resident rotational activities to the OEA. Monitors and reposts all resident training activity for the OEA. Oversee all aspects of resident personnel actions including new appointments, reappointments, and courtesy appointments in compliance with University policy. Assists with all aspects of Resident Terminations and Clearance and appropriate summative final letters of performance. Coordinates the resident/fellow recruitment and selection process. Coordinates, organizes, and schedules GME program events including recruitment, orientation, graduation, retreats, conferences and various meetings. Prepares and distributes materials for conferences and lectures. Designs, delivers, and reports timely completion of resident/fellow, faculty, and program evaluations through the New Innovations Residency Management System (RMS). Coordinates accreditation activities including ACGME Site Visits, Self-Studies, Internal Reviews, annual program reviews, etc. Tracks, documents, and reports on educational activities for residents, for the purpose of meeting board certification requirements, meeting program accreditation requirements, and complying with the policies and procedures of the OEA/GME. This position will be primarily based in Marysville, OH, and will be a one-year term appointment, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and continued availability of funding. The Education Program Specialist will provide on-site coordination of an embedded Bachelor of Arts degree in Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies at the Ohio Reformatory for Women in Marysville, Ohio, a state prison facility for adults. This position supports incarcerated OSU students and OSU faculty teaching at the prison facility, and it offers coordination of all OSU courses, office hours, study groups, and extracurricular activities at the prison. The position will also be responsible for communicating with the prison administration and the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) about program and facility requirements, policy, and protocol. Some evening hours will be required. Academic advising experience at the university level. Familiarity with private industry and career pipelines for digital arts and sciences fields, such as animation, game development, production, or related fields. Proven capacity for critical thinking, initiative, and the ability to take proactive action in support of student success. Evidence of work accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrated capacity for effective engagement in recruitment. Familiarity with higher education advising data, regulations, and general requirements for degree completion and graduation.
