Within this setting, the Fred and Dinah Gretsch School of Music offers student-centered degree programs at the bachelor s and master s level. Job Summary
Reporting to the Chair of the Fred and Dinah Gretsch School of Music, the Lecturer of Percussion will be expected to 1) teach Applied Percussion and/or other related courses such as Percussion Ensemble, Percussion Techniques or Percussion Literature; 2) actively recruit potential music majors; 3) attend faculty meetings for the School of Music and the Instrumental Area; 4) serve on jury and recital hearing panels; and 5) fulfill other teaching duties as assigned by the Chair. This is a non-tenure track academic year appointment beginning August 1, 2026. The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Position Summary
The College of Engineering at the University of Georgia invites applications for an academic-appointment (9-month) non-tenure-track Lecturer position within the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) beginning August 1, 2026. This position will be supervised by the School Chair of ECE, a position currently held by Dr. Fred R. Beyette, Jr.
The School of ECE is responsible for administering two undergraduate degree programs, Electrical Engineering and Computer Systems Engineering, as well as two graduate programs at the M.S and Ph.D. levels. With an effort of 100% instruction, this position is expected to teach 12 credit hours per semester in topic areas that support the undergraduate in entry level graduate programs.
Areas of particular teaching need include both lecture and laboratory instruction in the following general areas: Core courses and courses in the ECE curriculum (Intro to ECE, Electrical Circuits and Electronics), ECE design courses (Design Methodologies and Senior Design Capstone), and technical elective courses including Embedded Systems, Microelectronics, VLSI design. Position responsibilities include effective classroom teaching of undergraduate courses, laboratory supervision, mentoring undergraduate engineering students, and working with other faculty on innovative teaching methods within the College's rapidly-growing instructional programs.

Position Summary
The Department of Physiology and Pharmacology in the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia is expanding our teaching faculty to meet the needs of our growing educational programs. We seek an energetic and innovative educator to teach upper-level undergraduate students in our new Biomedical Physiology program. We have a broad group of highly motivated students who commonly focus on gaining admission to graduate training programs, particularly in human healthcare. You will teach the equivalent of up to three 3-credit hour courses per academic term, participate in the development of new course materials, and supervise teaching assistants. There may also be opportunities to participate in the administration of our undergraduate program and to contribute to the teaching missions of our graduate and veterinary medicine program. The position will interact with students and other CVM faculty and staff. Decisions can impact student learning and the program. High level of autonomy.

Department Information
Within this setting, the new faculty hire will play a vital role in teaching introductory-level mathematics. This hire should also be able to teach mathematics content courses for prospective (K-12) teachers.
The Department supports applied and pure mathematics, statistics, and mathematics education, as well as introductory courses for all students, regardless of their major. The mathematics education group works closely with the College of Education to develop and revise curriculum for courses for elementary and middle grade majors.
Job Summary
Reporting to the department chair, the Lecturer position requires excellence in teaching with a classroom instructional load as assigned by the Department Chair and service to the department, college, and university at a level consistent with workload. The position is a non-tenure-track academic year (10 month) appointment. While the primary teaching role will be for mathematics education courses, there is the possibility of teaching introductory core courses as well.

Applied research responsibilities (30%) include development of an externally funded, nationally/internationally recognized program in the areas of Aquaculture and Aquatic Animal Health. Consultation and technical assistance will be defined as providing specialized knowledge to stakeholders within the scope of the Warnell School mission. The successful candidate will interact with and advise private landowners, industry professionals, state and federal agencies, and Extension professionals. To fulfill the teaching appointment (35%), the successful candidate will advise undergraduate and graduate students and teach two courses per academic year; one course in Aquaculture and one course in an area of the candidate's expertise (e.g., aquatic/fish disease). The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the Warnell School's online Master of Natural Resources degree (launching in 2026). The successful candidate will also be expected to engage in professional service (5%), such as serving on School/University committees and actively participating in professional/scientific societies.

Position Summary
The Department of Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies Education at the University of Georgia invites applications for a position as an Assistant Professor of Science Education to begin August 2026. The position is a tenure-track, academic year appointment based at the Athens campus, with the possibility of summer employment.
Responsibilities:
* Establish and maintain a scholarly research, publication, and grant writing record
* Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in science education
* Advise graduate students and supervise graduate student research
* Contribute to the department to maintain programs of excellence in research and teaching
* Provide service to the department, college, university, profession, and public
Additional Requirements
* An active record of scholarship and productivity commensurate with experience
* Potential for seeking and attracting external funding
* Ability to effectively teach in our science teacher preparation programs, which include elementary, middle grades, and secondary teacher preparation, as well as in other courses in
our undergraduate and graduate programs
* Ability to teach face-to-face and online within the current program curriculum
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, and/or Certification
* One or more years of experience teaching in PreK-12 settings
* Evidence that science education is central to research
* One or more years of experience with populations having varied backgrounds and learning preferences

Position Summary
The Department of Financial Planning, Housing and Consumer Economics at the University of Georgia invites applications for the position of Lecturer in Financial Planning. The faculty member will have a 95% Teaching and Practicum supervision and 5% Service, nine-month, full time appointment in the Department of Financial Planning, Housing, and Consumer Economics. Teach eight (8) courses per academic year at the graduate and undergraduate levels split between instruction delivered online and on-campus. Work with faculty to develop, grow, and sustain scholarly and applied curricula in financial planning. Create and maintain engaging, academically rigorous course content for online delivery. Recruit, advise, and mentor graduate students. Participate in departmental and college service, including meetings and committee work. Maintain active membership in relevant academic and professional organizations.
Additional Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
A doctoral degree in financial planning, finance, accounting, consumer economics, or other closely related disciplines. Demonstrated expertise in financial planning.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, and/or Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
At least two years of experience teaching financial planning courses in an online environment. At least one degree in Family and Consumer Sciences. CFP certification or willingness to obtain it within one-year of hire date. Documented record of mentoring students and contributing to program development.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
The hired faculty should be knowledgeable of the CFP certification processes and standards. Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and student learning outcomes.
