By January 10, 1956 the University of Hawaiʻi Foundation had grown to include 37 corporate members and 89 individuals.
Fifty years later, in 2005 the Foundation raised $39 million.
The property consists of two buildings, the Charles Atherton House and Mary Atherton Richards House, for a combined building area of over 34,600 square feet situated on approximately 43,107 square feet of fee simple land. It is anticipated that the sale will close in early 2017.
