The Patient FinancialServicesRepresentative is responsible for managing insurance claim follow-up and resolution to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement. This role includes investigating and appealing denials, resubmitting claims, communicating with payers, and identifying trends impacting revenue. Representatives are expected to meet established productivity and quality standards while maintaining accurate documentation in departmental systems and following defined workflows. Strong organizational skills, revenue cycle knowledge, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential. The position also requires compliance with HIPAA regulations, completion of required trainings, and adherence to departmental policies and professional workplace standards.
This position is fully remote.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented and possess strong revenue cycle knowledge with a HB denial handling. They should have in-depth HIPAA knowledge and a high level of respect for confidentiality, with the ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in Epic, payer portals, and electronic billing systems is essential, along with Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The candidate must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong time management, critical thinking, follow-through, and organizational abilities to meet productivity standards. Success in this role requires adaptability to evolving payer rules, solid problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve denials, and the professionalism to ensure compliance and accurate documentation at all times.

What You'll Do
Member Services & Financial Consultation:
Assist members with financial transactions and account services.

Notarize documents, research accounts, perform account maintenance, open deposit accounts (consumer, business, IRA), originate loan applications, inform members of loan decisions, explain loan documents to members. Sales & Relationship Building:
Actively promote credit union products and services that align with member needs.
Engage in sales development training and activities to enhance service offerings.
Stay informed about consumer credit trends and market conditions.
Maintain necessary licensing for the sale of specific financial products.
Regularly contact members via email and phone to maintain relationships, share sales opportunities, and follow up on teller referrals.
Compliance & Operational Support:
Ensure adherence to UKFCU policies, board-established guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Working with the UNT Police Department will be an experience you won't get elsewhere. The UNT campus, including our police department, is a tight-knit and inclusive community that supports our diverse students, faculty, and staff. Position Overview
The Public Safety Officer (PSO) assigned to the Discovery Park assists with the overall security of the facility and surrounding UNT property by patrolling (vehicular and foot) and securing offices, exterior doors and other doors and entrance gates. The PSO also assists faculty, staff, students, and guests at the Discovery Park as needed.

May perform duties in Special Controlled Access Network station.
* Keeps records and makes detailed reports. Assists senior Parking Services staff with towing of vehicles.
* Provides information to employees, students, and visitors regarding campus parking regulations and directions. Assists with uniform and equipment inventory.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
* High School Diploma.
* Two years of full-time work experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Required Registrations, Certifications, and Licenses:
* Must be able to obtain State of Texas class C vehicle operator's license within 30 days of employment. Inability to obtain State of Texas class C vehicle operator's license may result in termination.

* Work rotating shifts.
* Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
