The EDPR program is predominantly a graduate education program using a research apprenticeship model and emphasizing scholarly productivity. The EDPR program also offers an undergraduate minor. The EDPR program also provides a wide range of service courses and academic support for graduate degree programs inside the College of Education, as well as across the wider University of Memphis campus. The position requires teaching of graduate courses (both online and face-to-face), a significant program of scholarly research, research publications, the pursuit of external funding for research, mentoring and supervising research of graduate students, chairing and serving on master's and doctoral committees, and participating in national professional organizations and university and college committees. The successful candidate will teach courses primarily on adolescent development and related developmental courses.
