Job Summary

This position provides executive-level support for the President and cabinet members with work direction and supervision from the Chief of Staff. Main Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinates the President's meeting requests and calendar, receives and routes incoming phone calls and emails, secures travel arrangements, and prepares and archives documents.

Manages meeting logistics including scheduling, space reservations, agenda preparation, and taking minutes for the general session of the board, the President's cabinet meetings, and other executive-level meetings.
Works closely with the chief of staff to plan, coordinate, and oversee all details for special projects, assignments and events.
Acts as a liaison for communication between the President's office and internal and external constituents, including but not limited to trustees, vice presidents, deans, parents, and students.
Plans and prepares for board of trustees meetings including: leading board preparation committee meetings, handling RSVPs, arranging hotel blocks, collecting electronic documents and reports for committee meetings (ensuring quality of product and preparation for distribution), assisting with catering needs, and managing the university's online board portal.

Position Summary
Reporting to the Asst. Dean of Clinical Experiences, this half-time basic science educator position focuses on educational work in support of medical student learning at our East Lansing Campus.
Job Responsibilities
60% Direct Teaching and Related Activities
The basic science educator will engage with students in medium and larger groups (generally 25-100 students in size), teaching content related to biochemistry, genetics, and cell biology. Our curriculum focuses on active learning and is structured to be integrative across the varied basic science disciplines and to include clinical context. Coordination will be required to ensure equivalent content is delivered in both the Grand Rapids and East Lansing campuses.

· Cleaning all amenity areas including the clubhouse, model apartment, pool, sport courts and restrooms.
· Clearing and removing debris from community grounds, breezeways and amenity areas.
· Completing and assisting with minor work orders as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
· Delivering resident correspondence and packages to units as requested.
Daily/Weekly
· Meetings: Meet with Maintenance Supervisor daily to review work orders and assignments. Communicate all maintenance concerns. Expect to receive a daily list of assignments and direction from Maintenance Supervisor.
· Timekeeping: Keep a record of hours utilizing company provided forms/software. Obtain authorization to work overtime from Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.
· Common Area Inspection/Pick-up: Pickup debris and pet waste and perform inspection of all areas daily, before the office is open for business. Always be diligent to look for maintenance issues.
· Grounds Maintenance: Per schedule provided by Maintenance Supervisor, keep grounds maintained and free of debris. Always be diligent to look for maintenance issues.
· Trash: Maintain trash receptacles to be clean and clear, always available for residents. Any back-ups, overflows, or malfunctions should be reported to Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager immediately. Assist with City pick up, when necessary.
· Pressure Washing: At direction of Maintenance Supervisor, perform pressure
washing of common areas, walks and buildings.
· Custodial/Cleaning: At direction of Maintenance Supervisor, perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal and other cleaning in interior common areas and units.
· Workorders: Complete minor workorders as directed. Ensure 24-hour response policy.
· Breezeway Cleanliness: Enforce trash standards on property. Report violations to Maintenance Supervisor so notices to residents can be issued.
· Pool Maintenance: At the direction of Maintenance Supervisor, log and maintain pool chemicals daily, according to local code.
· Logs: At direction of Maintenance Supervisor, maintain MSDS/OSHA/EPA logs in shop and office. Keep abreast of changes to MSDS sheets.

· Weekend Coverage: Per schedule provided by Maintenance Supervisor, provide coverage of common areas on weekends and Saturday afternoon cleans.

· Scheduled Inspections: Review Preventative Maintenance Calendar on monthly basis. At the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, perform following duties on a monthly basis:
a. Landscape walk with Maintenance Supervisor
b. Breezeway Inspections
c. Safety and Trip Hazard Inspections
· Monthly Safety Meeting: Attend a monthly safety meeting to stay informed of safety regulations and changes. Utilize meeting to communicate problems and get direction on better ways of doing things and improved cost control.
· Equipment Inventory: Ensure proper equipment is kept in inventory. Report missing/broken equipment immediately to Maintenance Supervisor. Assist in the verification of inventory as directed. Advise Maintenance Supervisor of any needed equipment/supplies.
· Education: Keep Maintenance Supervisor updated on education and certification needs. Ensure and required licenses and certifications are kept current.
Move-Out/Move-In
· Vendor Assistance: Work with vendors during process and provide input to Maintenance Supervisor regarding vendors' status and adherence to schedule.
· Unit Punch: Complete unit punch at the direction of Maintenance Supervisor.

The Department of Medicine offers a unique opportunity for a Scientist I or II to support research aimed at developing novel molecular imaging tracers for neuroscience applications. These imaging radiotracers will facilitate the diagnosis of brain diseases based on their molecular pathology and hence the development of therapeutics. JOB SUMMARY
The Dispatch and Operations Lead is responsible for the overall operation of the Hamline University Public Safety 24-hour Communications Center. This role includes monitoring and managing security communications systems and providing accurate information and assistance to the campus community.
In addition to overseeing Public Safety dispatch operations, the Dispatch and Operations Lead will manage the campus parking program and supervise the Anderson Student Center Welcome Desk. About the Job The Veterinary Population Medicine Department will have one equine sports medicine internship position available from June 8, 2026 to June 18, 2027. The position will have an equine lameness emphasis, and will be particularly suitable for individuals wishing to prepare for admission to a surgery, sports medicine or ABVP residency. The intern will have the opportunity to gain experience in lameness, imaging, and surgery. The intern will rotate through specialty rotations related to sports medicine and may also choose elective rotation(s) based upon personal goals, clinical coverage needs and advisor approval. The successful intern will work under the supervision of board-certified faculty members and will be responsible for:
1) Participating in the daily activities of the Large Animal Surgery service with equine lameness emphasis, but will also include emergency services of the hospital which also includes surgical cases on food and fiber species (particularly camelids and small ruminants).
2) Assisting in the instruction and supervision of senior veterinary students on clinical service.
3) Assisting in the instruction and supervision of veterinary students in laboratory courses.
4) Interns and residents share after-hours emergency care for the large animal hospital. The intern will have approximately 50% on-call duty and will always have resident and senior clinician backup. Staff members are available for consultations and assistance. Large Animal interns are expected to be available by phone and to live close to the Veterinary Medical Center.
Interns are eligible for 10 days of personal leave time during the course of the internship program. If this personal leave time is not utilized prior to completion of the internship program, all unused time is forfeited. The annual salary is $41,000 and benefits include full health insurance coverage. Interns will have FICA, state and federal income taxes withheld.
Qualifications
Applicants must be eligible for licensing in Minnesota by being graduates of either 1) AVMA COE accredited veterinary schools who have passed the North American Licensing Exam (NAVLE) by the start date, or 2) non-accredited schools who have ECVFG or PAVE certificates and have passed the NAVLE by the start date. Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Inspection of all permitted fire maintenance, repair, renovation, remodel and construction work on all University of Minnesota properties system-wide 65%
* Conduct on-site construction inspections, record results in permit software system.
* Perform field inspections for permitted projects located in the Twin Cities and throughout the state of Minnesota as needed.
* Document and initiate appropriate corrective action to enforce code compliance.
* Maintain daily inspection log and related records in an up-to-date and orderly fashion to expedite record keeping procedures
* Conducts inspections on all permitted construction work involving fire and related systems to assure work is performed consistent with applicable codes and standards
* Performs fire inspections to verify compliance between plans and actual construction
Review fire plans and scopes of work prior to fire permit issuance to verify compliance with all fire codes and standards 20%
* Examine design documents of fire systems at different phases of design: schematic, design development and construction documents.
* Examine plans and specifications submitted for permit to identify life safety hazards, minimum construction standard inadequacies and other related code inadequacies.
* Coordinate plan reviews with building inspectors; combining review comments in written correspondence to designers and contractors
* Review deferred submittal(s) and changes made to the permit documents throughout the construction process to ensure code compliance is being maintained.
* Review plans for conformity with requirements and issue fire permits; calculate fees to be assessed for projects and submits documentation for collection

Physical/Environmental Demands
Work is generally performed in the field and will include site visits to outdoor areas, roofs, mechanical rooms, controlled access areas, tunnels and confined spaces. Physical ability to climb ladders, enter tunnels and access all construction sites is required. This position may involve field inspections which may require a variety of physical activities, safe vehicle operation, tools, and equipment. May work near or be exposed to a variety of hazardous conditions or equipment. May occasionally work in closed or small areas to conduct inspection, be exposed to weather conditions, animals, sewage, fires, dust, gas, fumes, noise, asbestos, mold or other environmental conditions. Agility, strength, balance and familiarity with many and varied construction worksite conditions, tools and machinery is required.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Responding to new and emerging issues and the delivery of public practice services in the areas of Animal Health and Food Safety. Collaborate with Veterinary Public Health (VPH) faculty in teaching VPH curriculum. Participate in applied research activities in the areas of disease surveillance, risk analysis, public policy, health education, and epidemiologic investigation of important food safety and zoonotic pathogens.
Residents work on a variety of projects and, through experiential activities, gain a broad range of experiences in public health. Residents spend approximately 75% of their time on projects, with 25% time reserved for MPH courses and training. Occasional travel for meetings and conferences is required.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (must be documented on application/resume): The candidate must have a DVM degree (or equivalent foreign degree) by start date, plus at least one year of experience in either a private practice, corporate, or government setting in one of the following areas: wildlife or domestic animal preventive medicine; infectious disease diagnosis and treatment; food animal production, food safety, harvesting or processing; public health infectious disease surveillance and outbreak investigation.
In addition candidates must possess a valid US driver's license, or obtain license within the first six months of residency.

The Center for Animal Health and Food Safety (CAHFS) is a center in the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM). As a service unit for issues related to veterinary public health, our activities are ultimately intended to prevent or mitigate the risk associated with endemic, emerging, and foreign diseases that affect the health of animals, humans, and the environment. **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION**
**UW Medicine IT Services (ITS)** is a shared services organization that supports all of UW Medicine. UW Medicine is comprised of Harborview Medical Center (HMC), UW Medical Center-Montlake Campus (UWMC-Montlake), UW Medical Center-Northwest Campus (UWMC-NW), Valley Medical Center (VMC), UW Medicine Primary Care (UWMPC), UW Physicians (UWP), UW School of Medicine (SOM), and Airlift Northwest (ALNW). ITS is responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of the infrastructure and applications which support all these institutions, along with the implementation of new services and applications that are used to support and further the UW Medicine mission.

**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Identify business and technical impacts of user requirements and articulate to all constituents
+ Assume responsibility for the quality and delivery of technology business solutions
+ Create ad hoc queries, data sources, and reports to support the business
+ Collaborate with Analytics leadership to help set direction, standards, and process for a team of BI Developers
+ Work with other BI Developers, Cogito Developers, Analytics Business Analysts, Clinical Informatics, application teams, and customers to gather, analyze, and document reporting requirements
+ Utilize Epic's Cogito suite of tools to deliver data solutions
+ Design, code, test, and maintain reporting and analytics objects, including extracts, utilizing industry best practices
+ Provide production support and respond to help desk tickets related to the BI development tool set and Epic Cogito suite
+ Mentor and provide guidance, direction, and support to other developers
The Analytics Group has a dual report into both ITS and UW School of Medicine and provides operational oversight for the major analytics platforms and tools at UW Medicine. Analytics is a key support function as UW Medicine transitions towards value based health care. The Epic Reporting team provides analytic solutions across UW Medicine, specifically for finance, operations, institutional quality improvement, research, and clinical analytics. This position is focused to the Epic Clinical domain and works closely with UW Medicine ITS customers and a team of developers to provide analysis, recommend appropriate solutions, and develop those solutions using the best BI solutions available.
**REQUIREMENTS**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Information Systems, Math, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience
+ **Epic certification in Revenue Data Model**
+ **Epic certifications in Epic Cogito Fundamentals, Caboodle Data Model Fundamentals, and Clarity Data Model,** **Cogito Tools Administration**
+ Strong, applied experience with **Epic Resolute Hospital Billing**
+ Strong, applied experience with **Epic Clarity Data Model and Reporting** for medium to large scale projects.
+ Strong, applied experience with **Epic Cogito tools (SlicerDicer, SQL Metrics, Reporting Workbench, Radar Dashboards, Cogito SQL)**
+ 4 years of experience must include the following:
+ 4+ years of recent healthcare or IT experience
+ 3+ years of experience with BI reporting tools
+ 3+ years of experience with SQL, writing complex, highly optimized, queries across large volumes of data, database design, data warehouse design, query performance tuning, and writing stored procedures
+ Strong, applied experience working through the complete report development lifecycle for medium to large scale projects
+ Complete and demonstrable understanding of BI reporting best practices
+ High level of awareness of the current and future BI technologies
+ Proficiency with desktop computers and Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Visio and Project applications
+ Advanced understanding of basic database structures, data definitions, and data relationships
